I'm hoping /tg/ can help me with something.
So, in my setting when the humans started to spread out from notAfrica and mess with everything the elves did as elves do and fucked off to their island refuge by ship. Said refuge is located in a large sea/small ocean centralized between notEurope, notAfrica and notAsia.
What I'm trying to decide is how far away to make these islands from the continental shores to make them, if not necessarily unreachable by, at least relatively isolated from humans with late-Iron-Age/early-Medieval shipping technology.

Depends on how they're executed. They could be luck-based, they could be annoying, or they could just rely on the imagery a lot. That's before you start getting into "killer clown" territory.
Ultimately, the jester is usually about catching people off-guard one way or another. They shouldn't be all gimmicks, though. There should still be a real person under all those colors.

Right now it's been sent out to those who bought Charms, to fix things like wording, layout, and in Puritan-Demon Cofraternity's case, not existing.
It's also going out, more slowly, to people who bought it as an add-on during the KS.

Anyone feel bad for winning with certain combos?
I won a game playing Alesha today with Revielark and Karmic Guide, and it felt hollow, like I didn't accomplish anything. It was my first time with the deck, but I had used the combo before, notably in Saffi. I'm not against combo because it's needed, but I don't know.

Help me /40k/
I love playing guard, however recently I've been getting shafted when playing against crons. Now I know they're a hard codex and mine is objectively weaker however there must be a way of at least holding my own against them. It's not even their OP formations that are fucking me over - shit like lychguards buffed up escorting a lord and chariots chewing through my ranks along side wraiths. There's little I can do against it.
How do I win against them, am I being forced into having a boring "cookie cutter" army just for the chance to maybe be slightly closer to necrons or is there more freedom to the guard codex and I'm just being blind?
