You had an easy, simple, and intuitive set of encounter-building rules for 4e.
Why the shit has 5e regressed to THREE PAGES of byzantine rules on encounter-building, with several different kinds of multipliers?

What unreleased card are you looking forward to mostly?
Astrolabe, no question. Having a cheap console in Shaper would be awesome, especially for the Shapers I have the most fun playing.

Considering giving the game a shot, watched the youtube introductions, read up on card lists so I have some vague idea how things work.
My questions are:
1) What should I get first? Will core give me enough variety?
2) Being former M:tG player... is there any reason not to play "Draw 3" (Diesel, Anonymous Tip) in maximum allowed number of copies in each and every deck?
3) Is there anything that could be considered "combo" other than Stimhack + Personal Workshop?

What class/race combo would work best for an increasingly unstoppable armored juggernaut character in 4e?
Preferably martial, but I'll take whatever.

20 Con starting, access to feats from another race of your choice, only getting staggered when you're knocked below zero.
I'm really partial to Minotaur / Warden. It's an appropriate combo, and Wardens are the definition of hella sturdy.
You'd better be dual wielding shields. Add a blade to them if you must.

Well, the Commissar is dead, high command has abandoned us and the damned greenskins will probably overrun us in a few hours so unless we get an Emperor damned miracle we're not making it out of this alive.

My level 17 wizard owns a black hole. She (kinda) saw it one day while looking around, almost fell into it, and planted a big magic flag outside of it, claiming it as hers. I would like your input on what to do with it, /tg/.

Wizard 2: Why not just give yourself the ability to teleport and take a puppy with you when you go into the other planes?
Wizard 1: Girls scare me, man. Leaving my comfort zone too much to go to their neighborhood like that. Besides, I don't know how it would effect my head travelling across dimensions, so the dumb animals get to go with the dry run.
