Nantosuelta’s excitable dragon hatchling cycles between trying to overcome your strength and eating. The succubi are uncharacteristically relaxed despite Nana’s presence; the change in mood from the hatchling scampering around is quite significant. The hatchling has nearly doubled in size from when you first met it, as it devours the meat the succubi bring its rocky skin cracks and expands as its internal heat builds up.
You have to ignore the looks you get from the succubi, when they are not brining food or being chased by the hatchling they perk up and stare at you intently, having kids is on their minds – while they know Hestia will not allow this anytime soon but as their master they can still dream. When the hatchling decides that it isn’t going to get anywhere with you it switches to hunting.
“It is good that everything is fireproof here,” Nantosuelta idly comments while watching the hatchling trying to pounce on succubi, “when I hatched several houses, forests, mountains and villages burned down.”
“Hestia has built in fire proof enchantments for probably everything, so it should be alright,” you tell her.
Eventually a succubus gets caught and pinned to the ground, the hatchling is ecstatic but the succubi is getting burned forcing you to help her. That just results in you feeling that you’ve been had, the succubi rather than being afraid of the hatching overpowering her makes plans to ‘accidently’ be caught more often in front of you. The fanatical devotion of the succubi is still concerning to some part of you, they have mellowed out a lot but unlike the goblins the succubi are still demons.
“It is that time again,” Nana comments, interrupting that line of thought, you can feel the bond with her tingle a bit and dull before Hestia pings you and sends you her report.

What are some of your favorite core mechanics, /tg/, and why? Working on a homebrew at the moment and I've just about given up trying to come up with a relatively unique core mechanic. So I've decided to not try and reinvent the wheel.

Can non-martials be likeable and well characterised?
I've never seen or heard of a bro tier wizard.I'm asking because I'm playing an arcane caster in a group of newbies, and I want to be as great as I can be for them. The system is pathfinder, but the GM likes it so let it slide.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that 3.Pathfinder completely breaks any sense of illusion that there is equivalence between two classes of the same level.
In short, the system makes magicians unlikable because they invalidate most other roles.
1. Be friendly.
2. You're here to help.
3. Battlefield control spells.
4. "I picked this spell to compliment our group fighting style."
5. Construct logical argument to assist Fighter in debate, privately confide you did not agree with his thesis later.
6. Rehome them sensibly at level 8 when they are no longer necessary.

At least Mutants & Masterminds is honest when it openly admits the game forgoes balance for the sake of narrative. It knows it can be broken over your knee, but it trusts you not to do that.

I'm absolutely okay with this. But when I 3.5 degenerate flaps his facial vagina in such manner - it triggers me hard. D&D, especially 3.5, is rules-heavy combat oriented game.

The way to Whiter's glow was surprisingly safe. Come to think of it, you rarely saw any sort of wild life. The snow in this particular area was strange. Aside from the not-so-usual green snow, it was glowing....almost pulsating. You didn't feel sick either. there were no spikes in rads...that or Janus' Geiger counter was legit broke. The Novaian was on guard scoping through her battle rifle from time to time. She was taking things very seriously.
