What's the worst backstory you've ever seen?
I could list off a few great "ORIGINULL DONUT STEEL" god-characters... but lets try and go for something a little harder and see if I can come up with the worst "serious", "not-teenager" backstory I've heard.
Hmm... I had in a game once a Magus (it's the sword+magic class in Pathfinder) who was like half-tiefling who claimed their character was found and raised by a barbarian tribe and taught how to fight by them (despite being a non-human abomination) but also quickly became their best fighter because their demonic blood gave them fire magic that they self-taught themselves to incorporate into their swordplay... yeah. There was also something in there about how the character boned her master as soon as she was old enough in order to learn SUPER SECRET FORBIDDEN TECHNIQUES.

Can anyone unironically defend Chaos from a moral point of view? I don't think there's any way you can make them as anything but the bad guys. They're literally slaves to the whims of the Ruinous Powers, which in turn are slaves to the passions that begot them. Slavery to slaves which are slaves of other slaves. Can anyone tell how well this Space Marine list will work against Eldar Cheese of Scatbikes + Wraithknights?
