Hi /tg/, been a long time since I've been here. I was wanting to start an Adeptus Evangelion v3 game, but I can't seem to find the character sheet for it. Would any of you elegan/tg/entlemen care to help me? Or does v3 use the same character sheets as 2.5?

V3 does not use the same character sheets as 2.5, as most if not all of the mechanics are changed between the two editions. 2.5 is based on Dark Heresy, while V3 is a unique system.

By the way, started reading a manga where the MC is a reborn guy that was a gun otaku, and is using magic liquid that transforms into the weapon you are thinking of when you pour magic into it, to assemble gun in his new world.
Feels too convenient, but its a funny read. Also, he has a childhood friend who is a white wolf girl so it feels like a Stella/Zoe hybrid and is therefore cute.

Here is the age old question, which one do you prefer and why?
Skeletons vs. Zombies?
Skeletons, they're more sanitary and while they are less durable, have better agility and response times.
Zombies.
Strong, durable, and you can put nasty surprises in them without making it too obvious.
Skeletons in the house, zombies in the fields.
Skeletons are clean, and tend towards organized behavior. These properties make them outstanding house servants, and they don't have to worry about being damaged by exposure to the elements if they're inside.
Zombies on the other hand are durable enough that they can work the fields pretty much 24/7 without the elements blowing them to pieces like would happen to skeletons.
The wizard just got punched by an ogre zombie, instantly bringing him from full health to -9, about as close to death as he could ever conceivably go. He survived, thanks to the zombie getting distracted by the cleric and there being someone else there to patch him up.
And I'm like, "Yeah there's no way he's gonna get out of this with just a bunch of hit points being temporarily lost."
What manner of consequences, physical and mental and spiritual, positive and negative alike, could this experience have for the wizard?
Depends on the setting, depends on the character, depends on the player, depends on the GM. Or, you could google near death experience and not ask random assholes to do the leg work for you. Maybe he's less of an asshole? Maybe he retires from adventuring? Maybe he's a nihilist, finds god, goes full hedonist, etc. Fuck man, it's up to you and to roleplay.

What, you want me to give suggestions on a deeply psychological response with out knowing the fucking character or player? /tg/ has really gone down hill since the quest plague came.
Have you ever started a campaign in media res? Ill be running a campaign for a new group and I figured it might be a fun way to skip the awkwardness of the first session by throwing them straight in the midst of action.
Any stories of success?

That's more or less my favourite way to start any campaign. My favourite one was;

>as we're setting up and idle chatter is dying down, I slam my fist on the table
>"You stand accused of the massacre of 15 baked men, 6 momen and 3 children. How do you plea?"
The table was stunned, and quick as that the party's thief (a really cool guy who does voice acting) shouts "NOT GUILTY! I swears I may be a no good rotten pickpocket, but I'll not have me name sallied with these lies of child murder!" Soon the rest of the party all chimed in, with stories of alibis and other anecdotes to clear their names. Was a great session and all of them came out with a burning desire to find the shits who'd gotten them in trouble.
Objectively the best way to start the campaign.
I did run a CoC scenario released in unspeakable oath(?) where the players are escaped prisoners from a prison for the mentally insane. The scenario start with the players standing around a table having comitted a brutal ritualistic murder. Nobody remembers anything. That one worked out amazing.
Kinda want ideas on how I could use a similar start for a pathfinder/d&d style game instead?
I play a super resilient version of storm that blends the best of ANT and TES.

So you switched out a rite of flame and a chrome mox from standard TES so you can play 2 cabal rituals? Then instead of having Xanthid Swarms to stave off countermagic you have this single silence that you can't wish for along with a 4th abrupt decay and a telemin performance to auto kill lands?
I don't really see the point of what you are doing here. There's no active gain in resiliency. You still have the same ratio of card effects as TES and you don't have the 7th discard spell or 2 flex spot cards that ANT runs. You don't have a swamp to get...

I've got 1920s CoC party that went full evil.To make a long story short they all died but their replacement characters.....
I've got two ghoul wannabes,,a guy with the deep one taint and a fucking hybrid spawn of Tsathoggua as party members.
Forget what anyone said about saving the world, i'm now stuck with half a dozen monsters as PCs.
So what do i do when every PC is a monster but they still want to be on the side of humanity? The Spawn of Tsathoggua can pass as human, do i just have her eliminate all their enemies while having the Ghouls...

You dun goofed. In fact this is so out of bounds, it must have been a mess to start with. Sounds like heroic chargen and an uncompromised Mythos arsenal, both are signs of breaking the genre.
Now the rules have no problem with this. But don't turn to the CoC community and look for a fix. This is more DnD with some HPL tacked on than it is CoC. We don't play the game like this because it's really boring. But you do whatever makes you happy.
As for what to do... You could pit the characters...

Something I'll say for Balance vs. Variety. I can see where he's coming from, in that the more weapons and numbers you add, the harder it is to make all of those numbers even.
Instead, if you're going to be adding a wide variety of options, you need to make them less numerical. The trade-off between options needs to fall outside of pure DPS calculations and be something that's harder to judge.

That is some really old stuff. Other than what you see on 1d4chan it hasn't updated at all. Which is a shame because what started out as a simple little thing turned out pretty amazing. Hell even more drawfagging would be welcome.
