Anyone know what this is? I'm at a loss. No markings but from what I can see it's a falling block breech loaded .410 or small smooth bore cartridge. Google can't figure it out.

Another shot of the breech. It's opened by the trigger guard.

Try a rough chamber casting with some melted crayons, seems to actually be home made from the looks of it. Where'd you find it?

Stepbrother got it from his grandpa after he passed. Nothing but the gun not even a case. I can't even find a similar gun on Google images.

Richard "Mack" Machowicz: SEAL, martial arts expert, TV personality, and loving father and husband has moved on today. We knew it was coming, just not this soon. I know we weren't ready for this, but you lived to be all that a man could be. Rest in peace, brother. You will be missed.

Alright, to all my /k/omrades who've played the metro games,
how do you think the Bastard Gun holds up to the STEN?
25 posts and 7 images submitted.
>>
yeah
>>
Nah
>>
5.45 is gonna hit a bit harder than 9mm though less so than it could due to the short barrel and crappy propellant of the non-military ammo. The strange magazine of the bastard gun is probably less reliable than the STEN's which isn't even that awesome to begin with. Recoil and muzzle climb of the bastard gun is gonna be pretty awful, STEN is probably more controllable, though since both are open-bolt neither is exactly a sniper rifle.

Ultimately if you're using either one it's because that's all you've got but if I had the choice I'd probably go with the STEN.

Classic actually has some of these things. They look kind of rough, but $500 for something you rarely see is a pretty damned good price. I ordered mine. May have to reblue or cerakote it but for the price I'll risk it.

F-16 vs F-15 in aerial dogfight...which would win ?

F-15

Probably the F-15

The F-16 was a low-cost alternative to it to begin with, and F-16 squadrons are reverting to F-15's as the USAF gets smaller.

Well, /k/ after getting out after my 4 years and lurking I finally said fuck it and decided to get a gun.... A SIG P320 Full, in .45.

It's my first weapon, and I wanted something ultimately reliable since I want to be safe depending on what neighborhood my girlfriend and I move to, as well as simple range time for the sake of it.

I wouldn't mind getting into some extra classes and such but as for me, all I have is basic handling and shooting (Since if any of you been in Navy basic know, its not much) so I was wondering what advice/tips on handling, cleaning and just general care besides the obvious such as keeping it clean and well maintained after a day of shooting.

Also, general discussion.

What's stopping some manufacturer from making an M16A1 clone? The look is very iconic and they're pretty sought after, I would assume many people would want one that doesn't break the bank.

All the major aluminum forges are busy making A2 spec lowers for cheapshit carbines and uppers with carry handles are at a higher premium for this very reason too.

Everything production wise about the ar15 is about outsourcing and cost cutting.

Making new a1's is neither unless you use existing kits which are very scarse.

Because there aren't enough people that want one to justify the cost to anyone but boutique operations that sell in small numbers to collectors and people that like to be jerked off over the internet about their hipster build.

They could be cheaper than a rifle with a modern spec lower and flattop upper and I still wouldn't buy one. If you want something exotic, get a transferable. Then you'll have something that's actually unique.

I just opened up my latest order from PSA, and I noticed that about 6 boxes of ammo had fucking water in them. The cardboard was so waterlogged that it fell apart, and there are literally water droplets on the cartridges.

The outside of the shipping box had no signs of water damage, and I didn't notice the wetness until I opened up the saran wrap holding each "bundle" of ammo together. All the boxes of ammo were wrapped in saran wrap to protect them from the outside elements, so this must have happened before leaving the factory.

On a side note, I ordered 1000 rounds and they didn't send everything together in a case, instead sending the individual boxes, many of which broke apart in transit, since they added zero packing peanuts or paper or anything to the box to protect shit from rattling around inside.

What the fuck, PSA.

Has anybody had any similar experiences from this company? How suspect is this ammo? It's been sitting in moist boxes for at least a week, maybe more, if the factory workers packed everything up when the stock first came in.

This is how it was wrapped up, with 6 boxes to a bundle, and moisture in all of them.

See this? This is what your donations buys you.

You think they are protecting the second amendment? You just paid for the NRA to fund political advertisements.

This argument is the weakest argument we, as supporters of the second amendment, could ever make.

How the fuck will this win anyone over to our side? This advertisement only appeals to people who already love guns.

To anyone else, this just makes us look ridiculous! It makes gun culture look like babies crying over spilled milk.

Our money should have paid for a YouTube ad campaign to educate people, statistics are on our side.

But, you know, that would actually work, and that's not what anyone with money wants.

Wake the fuck up, the NRA is a cancer killing our national gun culture.

The only reason I like the NRA is not as a political organization, and as a group that organizes shooting competitions. In my area, there's really no one else who does that.

We've had some /k/ommando[s?] starting threads like:
>where can i buy a destroyer
>how much does a battleship cost
>what would you do with an aircraft carrier
Well, fuck all those expensive choices; let's go with something much cheaper & far classier:
>a square-rigged, first-rate, sailing ship-of-the-line
>(pic is of a 2nd rate)
Think about it: we can buy one from an owner no longer willing to put the money into costly maritime wood maintenance etc, or, better yet, we buy timbered land and log it all for wood to build a new one; there's a practically limitless pool of skilled & trainable labor available through the miracle of the internet, and we can /k/rew it ourselves....

could we replace the old cannon with modernized weapons?

A broadside with RPGs in place of cannonballs would be a nice way to greet pirates
>>
>>29817009
40mm BOFORS would be a better replacement I think. Adding an engine would also be a good idea, as the capability to ignore the wind would be quite beneficial.

RPG damaging a ship made from thick as fuck wood kek. I bet you are next gonna say they should turn it into living quarters for syrian refugees.
