sultan meetup is on may 28th
no love for wa i guess
I just watched a thing about a resturant in Olympus on Diners Drive-ins and Dives with Guy
>>29805604
that's a lot of fries.
what's stronger for a bullet, boron nitride, or tungsten carbide?
if the two collide, who would come out on top?
>>29805153
Depends on shape, but my bet is on tungsten. Boron is going to shatter wheras tungsten deforms
Neither, dumbass.
>>29805153
Boron sintered tungsten carbide is the paragon of all materials.
Anyone have suggestions on a safe? Not a small one. Just curious what you /k/omrades are using. Maybe something pic-related size.
best deal going.
https://www.sturdysafe.com/
after them look at Fort Knox and Amsec
avoid chinese imports, avoid sentry, avoid liberty, avoid browning, avoid basicly anything you see at a Bass Pro or Gander Mountain.
I will tell you one big thing about gun safes....
Most insurance claims against gun losses in a gun safe are NOT criminals....
It's flood damage...
Criminals have a hard time getting into even the cheapest safes but in a flood all your guns get wreckt....
If you live in a flood area at all never put your gun safe in the basement...
>>29805137
if youre not buying a stupid expensive safe, it literally doesnt matter. all inexpensive safes are easy to break into within a few minutes. pick out the sturdiest looking one that is large enough for your needs and BOLT IT DOWN.
>Police don't need military equipment
Are there people really this delusional or is it a meme I don't get?
This is a Bearcat that was purchased through the department of homeland security grants, which saved the life of several deputies, troopers, and allowed a negotiator to safely communicate with a suicidal subject. The suicidal man shot at the bear cat several times, which because the police had this vehicle no one was hurt.
It would be better if they had simply engaged the man and killed him.
Now he is forever a burden to the taxpayer.
That Bearcat has contributed to even more wasted money.

The public doesn't see the need for these things until they experience getting shot at. The county I work in bought an MRAP and used it to help when our area was flooding. Also good for SAR when there's wreckage from tornadoes.

its not possible to win with liberals
Make us jealous. Show off all the shooting you did this weekend.
Here is what me and about 100 fellow patriots did...

Congrats bro. What you gonna get next?
Hi /k/, noguns here looking to change that. What would you recommend for a beginner such as myself?
Go to an indoor range that offers rentals. Tell them that you're a new shooter looking to rent a gun for the first time. Have them help you pick one out, and ask them how to operate it safely. If they're fags, go somewhere else. Unless you're a fag, in which case leave them alone and don't go anywhere, ever.
Repeat with different firearms until you find one that you like, and then buy it. Unless you're the Adam Lanza type, folks should be more than happy to help a new customer learn the best ways to give them money.
>>29804445
12 gauge or a sks. A mavrik 88 is fairly cheap. If just to learn and plink, any .22.
Wait, you Canadian?
>>29804445
If you're a super super new beginner, never shot a gun in your life:
>ruger 10/22 for rifle
>ruger mk II or III / 22-45 for pistol
If you live in a place that allows private sales, you can usually find these for cheap. If not, you can usually find good deals if you look around at your local LGSes, pawn shops, and places like Cabela's. .22's are cheap to shoot, and you'll need to practice a lot to git gud.
If you're a little more experienced, get yourself an AR (PSA kits, S&W M&P 15 Sport 2nd gen, Ruger SR-556) or AK (Century's WASR-10s and NPAPs are affordable and decent). If you want a pistol, just go to a place with an indoor range so you can try some out. You want it to feel natural in your hand when you shoot it.
Then get out and shoot, shoot, and then shoot some more. You need to be willing to invest a good chunk of cash into ammo if you wanna be proficient
How is it not a real M4?
No giggle switch
Because FN is the captain now
>>29804437
its about as close as you can get prebuilt, but its not a "real" m4
Me and two of my friends are seniors in high school in Ohio. All 3 of us are not planning on going to college after school gets out. All 3 of us are getting increasingly pissed at the government and if Hillary or Bernie gets elected, we are hoping that a state or 2 will secede so we can leave before the liberal cancer destroys anymore of the country. We are not part of a militia but are planning on driving down south if shit happens. We have already put money into camo, plate carriers, helmets, and other survival and endurance shit, but we lack an important factor: guns. We can't afford to lay down a grand each on an AR and get the amount of ammo we are planning on buying. We have decided our best option would be get bolt action rifles, since they should make our ammo supply stretch the furthest. We have looked at Mausers but the ammo is too damn costly per round. We were also looking at Mosins but are noticing that the price is skyrocketing and that their supply is drying up. We don't know if we should each just buy .308 Remington 700 SPSs or find some semi auto rifle that is under 700 bucks. We are looking for rifles (preferably bolt action) that are under 700 each and that has ammo that is relatively cheap (like 80 cents a round or less) and is also fairly common. We are planning on buying a few thousand rounds each. Is there any surplus military rifles that meet this criteria? Or should we buy Remingtons? Should we just search around more for Mosins?
ur a fking retard
Summer is right arround the corner
Stay in school kids
Help me /k/, I'm an amateur on gun things and I'm looking to nab a nice 50 cal.
I don't know enough about 50s to make a really informed decision on this, but I am intent on getting one. It would be a gift (yes it's legal I checked) for my father who is more of an operator than I am, and who has always wanted one but could never afford one as he was too busy putting me through college.
I'm not rich, but I do have a decent job and some pretty good savings, so I am willing to drop some money for a decent quality weapon (if I could find a nice scope for it too that would be great). I don't want to get some cheap POS that will fall apart, but t the same time, I don't want to get jewed by overpaying thousands.
Any input would be appreciated. Or you know, just spout memes too as at least that will bump the thread.
>>29804245
I'd recommend a 10/22.
Barrett M107A1
>>29804245
>not rich
than forget about it completely. for a well built 50 cal you're looking at buying from Barrett, and you're also looking at around $10,000
the other .50 cals like the grizzly and other bullshit single shot are deadly death traps that offten blow up and mame or kill their users. not even a fucking joke bro, I'm shocked those things are still in production and haven't been shut down by goernment and put in fucking prison
QTDDTOT:
so /k/ my collection is lacking a lever action. looking through, minus the 22lr, most seem to be really expensive eaters. any recommendations on a good lever action caliber for someone that doesnt handload?
A Henry .38sp/.357
.44 mag Hornady LeveRevolution ammo is reasonably priced, and a heck of a lot more capable than .22lr...
>>29804152
44 mag marlin, friend.
Just bought a baton. Is this a meme?
I live in the city of a may-issue state and need something to defend against assaults.
>Monadnock Autolock 21"
>>29804064
Why use baton and not glorius slav PSL bolt carrier?
>>29804064
>mugger approaches you at night
Gimme yo wallet!
>been waiting for this for a week now
>as i turn around slowly, I start to mutter something about "it won't be that easy..."
>try to slickly slide baton from sleeve into dominant hand
>I've never practiced this before
>baton falls to the ground with a loud CLANG
>Jamal takes my wallet and rapes me with my own baton
>>29804108
I'm sure this one would do way more damage anyways.
What's new on the reloading bench? Reloaded .380 today... 85gr. And 115gr. Hollow points. I can't wait to start reloading for my mosin and k31!
Some blunders.
Reloaded 100 rounds of .223 75grain BTHP CFE-223 and another 100 using Varget.
Going to start doing some more reloading for my .17 Hornet. Just picked up a pound of LIL'Gun
>>29804090
Don't feel bad, I had the crimp set too low for .223 and ruined a bunch of rounds.
Why aren't theses standard?

How does this make you feel /k/?
It's one of the funniest things I've seen recently but it's been posted too much now
Being ambi is a good skill to have.
