I'm pretty sure American MREs are secretly dosed with medication that causes constipation. The only thing I've heard that causes constipation anywhere close to what a few days of MREs will do.. are opiates.
Someone told me that with proper hydration it shouldn't be a problem, but the reports of MRE shits come from soldiers that were forcibly hydrated in deserts and civilians that drink lots of water anyways.

Can we have a gas mask thread?
I'm broke as shit but I know that most surplus gas masks are useless to the point of being for cosplay only. Would it be safe enough if I were to buy an *unissued* Israeli civilian gas mask and use sealed NATO filters with it? Not very knowledgeable on the subject.

What do you all think about the Beretta PX4 compact?
Have PX4 Storm in Compact, 9mm. It's garbage, shitty trigger and just feels bad in the hand. Wife loves it though, she has small hands.
The PX4 could have been a very successful pistol if Beretta had 1.) Made it take 92/M9 mags 2.) Moved the safety/decocker off of the fucking slide
Otherwise it is plenty reliable, has a great trigger and is pretty ergonomic
Does the rotating barrel make a noticeable difference in recoil?
Hey, what are alternatives to firearms if you fail a background check? I voluntarily admitted myself to inpatient psych treatment last february, in NY state. Now I'm in NC, trying to get a firearm or a pistol permit and I fail because for some reason it was recorded as involuntary. Since I don't have the money or the time to drive all the way up to NYS and appeal the damn thing, what's a good alternative to a traditional firearm that doesn't need a check?
I have a shit tier .177 air rifle, but that's pretty much inadequate for anything outside...

Remember that scene from super bad where the cops arrest McLovin so he can look cool? I did that to some nerdy black kid at a house party a few weeks ago. I don't even know why this kid was there, he said something about how he was only invited because he could get alcohol. Anyway, after explaining and showing us that he wasn't fucked up like so many other guest and he was just going to go home, we offered to "escort" him out so it looked like he tried to fight two cops, then dropped him off a few blocks away.
