I live in California and have a medical cannabis card and am interested in purchasing a firearm. I am aware of that the federal government still recognizes cannabis as a illigal substance and the form you are requred to fill out askes you if you use any illigal substances, but is it just a yes or no answer that has no further research done to or is there a list the the seller can reference to every time a form is being approved that lists medical patients. i guess my question is do people with medical cards actually get in trouble if the lie to get a gun

Has anyone on /k/ ever taken a noguns out shooting? I am going this Sunday with a friend who has never even seen a gun before, let alone held or fired one, and it made me realize how much they might not know. What are the things I should teach someone before they even fire the gun? Obviously basic safety stuff is explainable, but what about the finer nuances of stance, breath control, trigger control, etc.? I'm going to write out a list so I can ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.

I took 2 of my 19 year old friends shooting about a year ago, and what i could not stress enough is not fucking pointing the gun everywhere loaded or not. They'd fucking shoot, and muzzle sweep like crazy, my asshole could make diamonds.
4 rules and sight picture. Let them shoot and correct things like stance and grip and whatever as the issues arise. Don't overwhelm them with a fucking textbook, make sure they have fun.

There is an anon who color-coded parts of one of his guns for when he takes noguns shooting, to help them learn the parts (trigger, charging handle, etc) easier. It's pretty neat.
Hey /k/, I'm a noguns faggot. I live with my dad, and he just called from work telling me to get the shotgun out of his closet and watch out for a white pickup truck. The gun is a Remington 870 and it says it is for use with 2 3/4 shells and lower, but the shells he told me to use are 3 1/4. I checked and that's all there is. How fuked am I?

I guess what I'm trying to ask is, does anyone on /k/ know of a good how-to on constructing your own rifle? I don't need anything fancy, but I can either build something in a few weeks or save money for a few months (assuming I'm not gypped out of my savings by game day towing) to get a gun right about the time all of our criminals go into hibernation for the deep winter.

Idk, I just have an aversion to being around other joes when I am trying to have fun. I just can't feel like I'm away from my work when other joes are around me, it's like when the narrator in fight club couldn't sleep again when he found out marla was lying like he was at those meetings. I feel I need to be at least 100 miles away from my base before I can truly relax.
