Is 6 enough for self defence?
I'm interested about getting a carry on and I have a fetish for revolvers
Thoughts about ammo type and it doing the job ?
>>28329262
158gr gold dot is my preference
6 is fine
carry a speed loader and practice your reload often if you have doubts
the one in your pic holds 8 though
I could be wrong, but im pretty sure the "largest" round you can legal carrry in a pistol is .45acp.
If i had a wheel gun id go .357 magnum, or .460 s&w
That being said-pending someone knowing if im wrong or not- it doesnt make sense to only cary 6 rounds with modern double stack mags. But ya, 6 should do it with 1-2 aggressors.
Smexy
I'll go first. I want a bernardelli model 60 so bad I can feel it in my hand.
>we agent scully nao
I've wanted a Wildey Hunter ever since seeing Death Wish 3 as a kid.
Sterling and MG-34 because Staa Waas
literally every gun from the old west because of variouse movies and New Vegas
An Uzi because of Falling down.
And an AK and Marlin lever action because of Red Dawn.

An armed man approaches you in a parking lot. What do?
>>28328894
shoot him because he didn't load his revolver.
Bow down to his demands because i'm European.
That revolver does not look loaded though.
>>28328894
armed as in weapon holstered, brandishing, or threatening?
answer varies between ignore, draw, and shoot
Is it possible for a civilian to own like an anti-tank cannon, or artillery piece or mortar, or a tank with a functioning cannon?
I know you can get antitank rifles, and you can buy actual tanks. But all those kind of large guns I can only find for sale as demililitarized which should be a fucking crime to destroy a weapon like that.
What about AA guns?

Just register it as a DD. Can't have the explosive shells though.
I'm also assuming you mean in the good old USA
>>28328801
Yeah, USA, Missouri if that changes anything.
Can you still get exploding rounds if you register each round as a DD like with grenades?
Some old 37mm APC M51 Shot a old man gave me.
Can anyone advise me on how to get this broken pin out of this AR-15 barrel?
Much appreciated
>>28328754
lol
How did you do that, you pentanigger?
Did you hammer on the thread side of the barrel?

Been hit with one. They hurt soooo much more than Tula FMJ's.
Dead/10
Howdy,
Is there a military recruiter around on /k/ tonight, or someone who is willing to answer some questions?
I am a 22 year old college grad, degree is in geology, and interested in an officer's commission into the armed forces.
GPA was 2.98, and was diagnosed with ADHD and has taken ADHD medication within the last year. What are my chances for an exemption and getting a commission? I am in good physical shape and have a clean record.
In what branch? Go to the Military Enlistment General, I think it's still alive.
Don't even talk to enlisted recruiters, they are just going to try to convince you that enlisted is the way to go. It's not. Being enlisted sucks
>>28328559
That thread is dead. Thanks for the heads up on enlistment.
>>28328559
>enlisted recruiters
You have to specifically deny, on paper, seeking a comission before you enlist if you have a college degree.
And it's not 1995 anymore. Recruiters know they can only lie to you about things you dont bother to look up yourself.
Just bought a new Taurus Raging Judge for 200 dollars.
Did I do good?
Anyone else has one and want to share your experiences?
>pic obviously related
Ya, id say so.
I want one.. can you think of a more aggressive name than TARUS RAGING JUDGE MAGNUM
>>28328464
>Did I do good?
Nah, man. You fucked up.
for 200? yeah you did good
All movie plot stuff aside.
Marky Mark says in the movie that he lost his first aid kit, (obvious after jumping off a cliff) before plugging them with dirt. Im pretty sure the other members of the teams had IFAKs, but they were wounded/overwhelmed too fast for that to do any good?
>>28328439
>using your IFAK on yourself, by yourself
>packing wounds with mud
It was fake operator movie drama from beginning to end.
Still haven't seen this movie, but apparently they had professional gear queers doing the costumes, to include their weapons and rigs and shit. Really fascinating. None of this old MLCS stuff is hard to find, but they put a lot of work into it to make everything look aged.

>but apparently they had professional gear queers doing the costumes, to include their weapons and rigs and shit.
It's called 'product placement'.
What are some good operator books to read? Preferably ability to torrent them would be nice.
No American Sniper, please. Thank you.

Does Khajiit have a jerico 941 ?
Why did the industry push for 300blk over a new subsonic 7.62x39 round? ARs where already setup to run x39 and making a new load in x39 provides a broader market.
It doesn't make sense to stick with the 5.56 parent case to avoid spending $100 on mags and a bolt and then be stuck paying $1.50 per round to practice with your gAyR. It makes sense to have $.25 supersonic practice ammo and then "premium" ammo for accuracy and subsonic use. They fucked it up and prioritized the wrong thing.
Yes, you can make/buy cases and reload to shoot it cheaper, but...

follow the money
things that are american: 300blk
things that are not american: 7.62x39
>>28327907
can you load x39 in AR mags?
can you take an AK and switch between 2 calibers in a few seconds with nothing but an upper swap?
At what age can men/boys be expected to function as a soldier?
25
>>28327826
californians and new yorkers aren't ever really men or boys they are more or less Girls with dicks like traps. Everywhere else the average 12 year old can carry and operate a crew served weapon reliably
>>28327838
Pretty much this.
I dont expect anything approaching autonomous competancy out of anyone younger than this.
