What's /k' opinion on ruger?
breddy good
>I WISH THEYD FUCKING MAKE A MINI 14 THAT TOOK AR MAGS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
breddy ok since Bill "King Fudd" Ruger died.
Their revolvers are nice, bolt rifles are high-teir, and everyone and their dog owns a 10-22. Mini-14s are meh, desu senpai

Had to take apart a Speed Six for cleaning the other day.
Crazy goddamn Kraut clockwork. Sometimes I think that my forefathers have a bit of a problem with needless mechanical intricacy.

>India’s New Fighters Have Serious Engine Problems
>SU-30MKIs constantly break down
>In the past decade, the Indian Air Force has bought hundreds of Su-30MKI fighter jets from Russia. Some of Moscow’s most advanced export fighters, the warplanes should have helped New Delhi strengthen its military.
>But it turns out, the twin-engine...

how about reading the article. its source is the indian military themselves.
I highly doubt the Indians are really good at jet engine maintenance.

Everyone who's used one talks up the counter weight gas system, especially when it comes to burst and full auto. So how come nobody else is doing this? Is it not worth the engineering effort for a civilian semi auto only model?
>>28359419
There is a civilan semi-auto actually. Saiga MK 107.
>>28359452
Those ever come to market in the US? Heard about them back in 2013, but haven't heard anything since
LGS has a p38 in decent condition for $450. I don't know too much about these guns, but this seems like a great price. Are there any markings or anything else I should look out for to make sure I dont get scammed?
>>28358841
buy it, but only if it is covered in swastikas and stick eagles my lad
you have to ask a few questions first, is it actually a P38 and not a P1 or P4, is it wartime or post war production, is it a capture gun?
Nice thumbnail
Who else is going to buy an unissued M39 from classic?
>buying shit from classic
>ever
I seriously hope you don't do this!
>>28358938
Bought a VKT M39 from them, its immaculate.
Show me another place I can buy M39's right now, a place where I can return it if I'm not satisfied and I'll stop giving classic my business.

So since we have Laser which are small enough to put onto a humvee and are strong enough to melt steel, were they used against humans yet?
If so are there any videos/pictures of the damage it has done? I personally hope that i will never be in a war were Laserweapons are used.
>>28358739
why do you speak as if lasers are more terrible than bullets? bullets r worse than lasers.
lasers cauterize, bullets cause mass bleeding and trauma.
if anything lasers could be considered to be the more humane form of mass slaughter.
>mfw I might own a laser gun in my lifetime
>>28358792
>getting Laser in face but not long enough to be killed
>being behind cover, get laser on cloth, cloth burns furiously and you are behind cover.
I don't know man, i'd rather get shot than burned alive.
This or a Welrod
GET A FUCKING REPRO
Semi-auto Ohio Ordnance BARs cost ~$4500. Even NFA fully transferable aren't that pricey, around $15k-$20k. Compared to some machine guns, that's cheap and fully within the realm of possibility if you hold even a decent job.
Once you start getting into transferable M60s, MG42s, and miniguns, then you're getting into the "I will (probably) never be able to afford" range.
In short:
>MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE
>>28358595
Don't want a repro. That's essentially fucking a sex doll instead of a real woman
>>28358599
>$15k-$20k
>aren't that pricey
Man I'm a college kid.
there is literally nothing wrong with condor gear.
>genuine multicam fabric
>very good price
the only knock is the stiching, which can be fixed with needle and nylon thread.
>eagle pc was $250
>needed stiching repaird anyways
>condor carrier $80
>same repair
why spend the extra money?
used a condor once, couldnt feel anything
I got a chest rig from them once. The bub attached with via Velcro and snaps. The first time I went to put it on one of the snaps broke. Literally the first time I went to don it. Typical Condor product. Never again.
>>28358451
I got one once when I was a poorfag and it held up pretty well. I would just use it on my land when I was shooting. I ran the workout, "Murph" in it a few times...all in all I think they are fine for the $.
They are cheap, yes, but not warranting of the hatred they get on here IMHO.
What's going on in Afghanistan? Its been over 10 years right?
Are you winning?
Doesn't that put torque on the barrel? Are those rifles just for meme orial services?
>>28358419
Of course we are. Mission accomplished.
USA USA USA !!!
literally what is the point of infantry when every vehicle has three of these?
There really is no point of infantry
However militaries couldn't do fancy marching parades without infantry, so foot sloggers will stay.
And will cost trillions in health care when 50,000 of them are killed/injured pointlessly.

Great thread
Just going to leave this here: https://www.change.org/p/tell-albertson-s-to-stop-selling-magazines-that-glorify-violence
Choice excerpts: " I was shopping in my neighborhood Albertson's grocery store and was confronted with a magazine rack filled with magazines glorifying assault weapons. . . . I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My shock quickly turned to anger. I went back to that store to register my concern with the manager. I walked him to the magazine rack, pointed out the ludicrous lineup of gun-centric magazines, and told him I didn’t think...

Alucard used a 1911 chambered in .454 casull? are you saying a .454 casull isn't enough to take out vampires and other ghouls and goblins?
Well memed friend. I'm glad you took up a thread for this wonderful board culture post.
Let's start a airsoft thread
Post pics of guns, gear and airsofting
Talk airsoft events, upgrades and etc
> back to "x" board, not toys
Yeah fuck off if they can have /k/ vidya thread or battle buddy threads then we can have ours, at least it's somewhat weapons related.
>>28358038
You have a dedicated thread on asp
Coming here is pointless

They're all the same thing. It's like looking into a crowd of asians.
Czechpoint obviously. It's objectively better than any shitty slope or ruskie AK
So, what's next for hand held weapons? Every new gun 1900s onward has worked pretty much the same. A striker strikes a preloaded cartridge which goes down a rifled barrel. So what's next?
Pressurized guns.
Basically you use hydraulics to move a big diameter cylinder at 1000fps and because of hydraulics the smaller diameter cylinder mives the projectile at over 5000fps.
All you have to do is have a little bit stronger explosive.
>>28357665
I see magnetic propulsion becoming common in small arms well before hydraulics or pressure systems. Pressure systems would almost require programmable material to be effective at small-arms scale.
>>28357640
ETC. Electronic ignition of advanced propellants opens the way for improved performance without forcing a shift to a radically different method like magnets or lasers. We're going to be killing people by throwing shit with explosives as long as we can get away with it.
