Hey guys, have an idea on the S&W but not the Walther PP or Mauser .25ACP.
First: S&W Model 19-4. 99% to Unfired condition with original box and materials. Box is somewhat rough but complete. Not sure if grips are factory. My guess is $600-800 value.
Second: Walther PP .32ACP (7.65 on slide). Really excellent condition with no major wear or pitting. Appears to be an earlier one, guessing early 50s? No idea on value.
Third: Mouse gun marked Mauser WTP .25ACP. Very Excellent condition overall with a tiny circle of shallow pitting right side behind...

Why do some guns have the handle on the right side? Wouldn't it be easier to have it all on the left so you could be able to cock the gun without having to flip or turn it at all?
Do they make AKs with the handle on the left side?

Majority of people are right-handed.
Gotta cut a hole for the bolt handle to connect to the bolt carrier. Easiest to make this hole on the same side or part of the ejection port, which you want away from the shooter.
I would image that's so the ejected shell doesn't hit your arm, but it could be for another reason

My current question relates to handguns and their actions. I understand, with revolvers, the difference between single, double and semi-auto actions. Single action you need to physically pull the hammer back in order for the trigger pull to release it. Double action pulls the hammer back for you when you pull the trigger. Double Action and Single Action only refer to the length of trigger pull, a Double Action makes the trigger pull also cock the hammer while a single action must be cocked before pulling the trigger.
"Semi-Auto" in this case is an incorrect term technically, gained in the 1900s when the first magazine-fed pistols began showing up. To differentiate them from standard Revolvers people called handguns like the 1911 "Automatics"which shifted to "Semi-Automatic" later to further delineate between weapons with continuous fire.

So, the SIG MCX can't stand up to even light weight abuse. Would not with stand military trials. Why do people buy these "Not ARs". They have no historical significance, they aren't interesting mechanically, they are just special snow flake guns that do nothing better than an AR-15 and just do things worse.
