I'm getting my CCW permit today, just gotta drive to the sheriff's office. Anyway, I was thinking about getting a little snubby Chiappa Rhino as my EDC. I figure if I'm gonna start carrying, might as well carry a meme gun.
What calibers should I look for that would stop an assailant, but not be too much recoil for decent rate of fire? I'm seeing .40 a lot on Gunbroker, should I try that, or with a different caliber? It also comes in .357 and 9mm. I already have a pistol in .40 so that would be one less ammo type I have to stockpile...
All around, how is the Rhino? I have a meatball, but this is a whole different type of usage in completely different situations. Does it make a good EDC? Any other thoughts?

I wouldn't conceal carry anything other than 9mm or .380
I also wouldn't carry a revolver. although that one is pretty compact.
The rhino is good, but get the 200D not the DS. the 200D is a superior concealed carry gun (mechanically simpler, more reliable)
Also get it in .357 mag nigga.

What range do you expect to be shooting at most of the time? If it's just a light brush gun, anything over 2x is overkill and will slow down your acquisition.
For 100-200m, 4x is probably fine. 1-4x would be even better, since you could still use the 1x if you need to shoot in a hurry.

In the American Civil War and after. The Cavalry was fighting with firearms and maybe sabers. They also tended to function as dragoons.
In WW1. The British Cavalry was still fighting with lances as their primary weapon.
Why were the British Cavalry behind the curve? They had even better repeating arms and knowledge of what machine guns and bolt action rifles did.

What about the radar? Seems like you'll have to redesign the entire nose of the aircraft.
So, I know that the cheap steel cased ammo is obviously inferior to other FMJ. But is there any difference between, say, WWB or Remington UMC? How about slavshit brands like Prvi partisan or S&B? Is academy's monarch brand decent? I shot it once, and it was kind of dirty and a few fte's, but I had nothing to compare it to.
Is the extra money worth it for the big name brands? Or should I just get what's cheap, and save the hand-picking for the defense ammo?

Get lawman, blazer brass, and or geco. It really doesn't matter but these are miles fucking better than perfecta/umc/wwb or whatever bullshit you see laying around wally world.

Would it not be a good idea to have some road mobile ICBMs to ensure second strike capability? If the one patrolling sub is sunk or destroyed then the nuclear deterrent is gone.
I mean having 5-10 road mobile launchers like the Russian Topol M with a high yield warhead (say 2Mt) that can be used against your opponents cities.

Isis is killing everyone, Syrians are getting slaughtered. And Iraqis are fleeing for their lives. The kurds are fighting isis and holding ground. The Iranians are fighting isis to look good and hopefully acquire more land for Shia iranians. The Russians are helping the Syrians only to have a bigger global in print and fucking wrecking isis. The US has flights dropping bombs and drones but it's shit compared to Russias aggressive attacks. Turkey is secretly helping isis, and kuwait is too, from private organizations. Saudi Arabia is also involved with funding isis. Jordan is fighting isis with air strikes. The Syrians just want everything to stop but Obama has a hard on to supply terrorists in syria to fight the assad regime but these are rebel fighters that we supply are getting WRECKED by Russia/Syria/Isis.
