What does /k/ think of replicas? I always wanted a Springfield 1903 and its hard not to find a used one that isn't trash. The Gibbs 1903 might be a good alternative. Or am I a big dumb stupid head for thinking about it?

I just got back from the range and some guy was telling someone you have to clean your gun everyday wether you shoot it or not. That can't be true can it? Won't it mess up the gun. Should I have called him out on it because I started second guessing myself
No, that's fucking retarded. You don't even have to clean your gun every time you shoot it, but I do. I think cleaning is fun.

Should you clean your gun every day? Absolutely unnecessary. You might want to clean it every couple months or so if you don't use it, just to prevent rust and gunk etc. But even that's not completely necessary.
Can anyone help me find out what kind of dagger this is? Where it's style comes from, if it may be legitimate, and what the symbol on the blade is? I bought it from am antique store up in Michigan, if it helps.

There's little practical utility for it. The cartridge only has a couple of loads available and isn't for novice reloaders.
If you don't mind it being a range toy or talking piece, then it's fine. But since AP ammo is hard to get/expensive (and of very limited utility to most civilians anyways) there isn't much use for the gun.
