Should weapons training be a part of the school mandatory curriculum, at least at a state level?
I feel like a lot of the stigma behind guns would go away if people were taught at an early age about guns.
>>28524511
Yes.
>>28524511
I'd vote for it at the state level.
>>28524563
>>28524598
At what age should it start?
Any ideas on how it could be implemented?

M1A owner here. I saw that vid before on Full30. I'm glad they did it. It was a wake-up call.
I'll be sure not to get into any battles in sandstorms.

Hi, /k/. I saw this rifle at a garage sale this morning and picked it up for $75. The owner couldn't tell me what it is and I don't know either. The only mark I can see on it says 1942. The woman who sold it to me gave me a small bag of bullets that go to it I guess so one is in the picture if that helps.
>>28523744
nice nugget op
>>28523744
Is that a FAMAS?
>>28523744
A Mosin Nagant. It fires 7.62x54r.
Pics of markings, please.
So why didn't they just nuke the whole fucking planet?
Why are future people still even bothering with an infantry?
What exactly does their armor protect them from?
Would you like to know more?

Look at it as a propaganda film. It makes so much more sense that way
Starting a California General thread since there seems to be at least two a day. As stated in the other thread appropriate topics may include the following:
>hur it sucks
>No rain
>Leeland Yee
>muth fuggin pistol list
>what gun you waiting to pick up

Can we complain about bullet buttons and 10rd mag limits?
>>28523049
Sure.
Most annoying thing is that we can own all the components to convert an AR to have a regular mag release in a matter of minutes/seconds.
10+ round magazines can be easily acquired across the border legally as long as they are disassembled.
Literally anti-fun laws.
I live in CA and have a bullet button magnet, now I can't complain. I have a load of 30 round pmags and old gi mags
News is slowly coming out of Syria that Russian robots have been sent into combat over the past few days during the Salma offensive and they're saying that robots scored >10 kills. They're also using other kinds of robots (PackBot equivalents) to hunt for IEDs since AlQaeda left several dozen boobytraps but those are different from combat robots.
Have they gone too far? Using robots to kill people is one step too far.
Thoughts?
>Russia desperately trying to impress world militaries
Did they give any criteria for what these "robots" were?
If they weren't fully autonomous, who cares? May as well call Smart Bombs robots and they have thousands of kills.
>>28522952
Reports are from SAA fighters on twitter. Russian MoD has been mum on the issue. I'm guessing they don't want attention (it's bad PR).
>>28522939
Sounds cool to me. Even if its pretty much just one of those remote control airshit tanks with a gun attached to it. unmanned terrestrial vehicles has a ring to it.
SEALs/SBUs captured by Iran Coast Guard
Iranian military forces seized two U.S. Navy boats Tuesday and are detaining them on Iran's Farsi Island in the Persian Gulf, senior U.S. officials told NBC News.
The officials said it's unclear whether the 10 American sailors aboard two small riverine vessels had strayed into Iranian territorial waters before they were captured.

I'd take a Mk V hostage if it came near my house too. Having a PCS(Party Command Ship) would be amazing.
>Large aft deck for sunbathing hotties
>Mounted guns would be converted to paintball for blasting tourists or for shooting jello shots at people.
>Slipway would be turned into little slip and slide or a docking ramp for my SeaDoos.
>Attach diving board on top of mast.

Whole buncha nothing. Iran already said they were going to return the boats and crew.
>implying armed seizure
>implying boats got lost
>implying two coast guard ships just haphazardly go a mile into Iranian waters without a distress call or communication of any kind
I'm guessing they snuck in a negotiator or are doing some kind of prisoner swap and this was the only way to do it on short notice without getting too much bullshit from the media.
Post your sexy sidearms.

Here DR8CO, a poor fag Cz.

Muh Jericho, to compliment the dude above me's shoulder holster of awesomeness.
It's not very sexy but it sure beats the stock gen 3 grip
Name a better home defense weapon than an M92 SBR with a folding stock.
30 rounds of 7.62 goodness
That AK reliability
Light and manuverable for indoors operating
Can switch from an SBR to a fireball throwing pistol of death
Protip, you probably can so let's hear what you guys think tops this.
I'd probably prefer a pistol with my favorite HD ammo or a shotgun with 00 buck. I also wouldn't want to blow my eardrums out.
>>28521776
I wouldn't necessarily say tops but really any shorty rifle in an intermediate cartridge is going to do decent.
>>28521776
7.62x39 is a poor choice for a HD round unless you live out in the sticks.
WA fags, write to your representatives NOW.

This bill effectively bans ALL semi-automatic long guns with a detachable magazine, even grandpa's trusty old BAR and 10/22s.
If it has a detachable magazine and ONE or more of the following:
>Pistol OR thumb hole grip
>Folding/collapsible stock
>Vertical foregrip
The usual bullshit.

>actually being worse than commiefornia
>>28521694
we would get 10rnds, no transfers, no grandfathering after death. Real commiefornia shit.
>>28521694
Worse, any semi-auto rifle with a detachable magazine and pic relate is evil.
Well who wins /k/? Both dropped into an urban environment the size of a village. US troops can take any kit they want with them excluding anything aerial and have no support.

I'd be willing to put my money on the Germans in a death match.
Superior equipment only goes so far, especially in a 1:5 battle.

Bro even if they were special forces, getting outnumbered 5:1 is a death sentence

To what extent is China's military development based on stealing US research? Is there any area where China is actually ahead?

Theft of research.

Hyperfast projectiles. They are testing some things that are absolutely insanely fast.
Their military is well structured IMO, and if they need a peice of hardware to fit a niche, they make it on budget and on time.

Has there been an uglier plane?
>>28520312
>>28520312
X-32 was the most fuselage-positive plane due to how, despite everyone calling it ugly, it still found the time to be happy about itself.
