The text to the right is too thin, it makes it less noticable and harder to read.
there's so much space it's kind of annoying that they're just kinda slapped in the corner.
I have to make font for one of my classes, I've done my research and all but i just have no idea where to get started or what to make. there's already a shit load of fonts and making one that's good and new is pretty hard. help?

I have made a bunch of logo variations, and I have looked at them for so long I can't really tell which are good anymore. My brain is fried - maybe you can help me out!

The logo is for a technical education company. I started with the open source hardware logo as a base, hopefully I have moved far enough from that design not to confuse anyone.
I made a ton of variations.

Okay, I know this is like announcing open season for trolling but I actually need help.
I'm helping a family friend design their wedding invite however they want the border gold instead of black.
Have tried watching video tutorials about how to do this on photoshop but all the options I'm supposed to choose are greyed out.

Your teacher kind of sucks though, that's poorly animated. Character seems weightless and the walk itself lacks personality.
In order for the character to have weight, a low/recoil position should be keyframed

Google "the animator's survival kit pdf". That's basically a big book on how to animate walks properly. It's aimed at traditional 2d animators but the principles are the same.

Which books did you personally read when studying before you felt you knew enough to do the job?
I ordered Meggs' History yesterday as the wiki said but I want to know what are the more essential books on the list or otherwise.
Also I know this gets asked here often enough but is it worth going to school if you study on your own?

Meggs' History is a great book.
Gardner's Art Through The Ages is also a great one to have. I think there's a few different versions... the one I have is about 4in thick. A very long read but it covers EVERYTHING.

I have one for Art History at Uni, but it's Western Centric, and I think it ignores the rest of the world too much. Is the non "Western Perspective" book really good?
