Is the Deadpool from "Deadpool" and "Uncanny Avengers" the same Deadpool from"Spider-Man/Deadpool"? Because I'm really having a bad time trying to slot in the two storyline in the same time period. Am I supposed to believe Wade goes killing Sabretooth then the same night goes on a date with Parker and so on?
They look and sound like two very different Wades.
>>83791275
>what are different writers
Why do you come here asking dumb questions?
>>83791275
Deadpool is non-canon
always has been
>>83791275
Does it really matter when they happen in relation to one another?
So I just read Superman #1, and I'm very confused. I thought he was in Metropolis picking a fight with Luthor. Are the comics taking place at different times? Did I miss an issue? What is the reading order here? Yes, I'm dumb, but it's been awhile since I've read DC comics, and I'm trying to stay up to date with the order. Please help!
>>83790913
Action Comics and Superman are telling different stories that take place at different times anon. I know it's confusing since Action Comics and Superman have been crossing over since forever but DC Rebirth might actually be putting a stop to that albeit temporarily. There is no reading order since it's not a crossover. Pick which one you like and read it.
Superman - Rebirth 01 (2016) (2 covers) (digital) (Minutemen-Drunk Monk)
http://www117.zippyshare.com/v/SmpEfeOH/file.html
Superman 001 (2016) (Webrip) (The Last Kryptonian-DCP)
http://www70.zippyshare.com/v/XwSHu0wh/file.html
Read the top two in order and continue with those and come back and read the Actions when they pile up.
Action Comics 957 (2016) (2 covers) (digital) (Minutemen-Drunk Monk)
http://www67.zippyshare.com/v/JhawWcSD/file.html
I'm guessing Superman #1 takes place after Action Comics last issue then? I can wrap my head around it, I just think it's not a good idea right now, when they're doing this big event to reintroduce the characters and narrative. They will confuse slow people like myself.
why is he so perfect?
Colton Haynes will be the next ALL AMERICAN SUPERSTAR ACTOR
>>83791329
Seeing as how he's gay I highly doubt it.
>>83791374
Also, he can't act.
Does Superman get incapacitated by lasers/energy beams/lightning as much as the Justice League cartoon has led me to believe?
>>83790338
JL had to nerf him quite often so the episodes wouldn't be over in five minutes.
>>83790338
No lol
He's Superman. Why would those weak things ever affect him?
Why doesn't Superman just rape the lighting?
remember when feminism was equally as heavy-handed as it is today, but the story was so good you didn't care?
fuck, mulan was awesome.
i mean we know the media has never understood the word "subtle" but why can't they at least propagate their shit in an entertaining way anymore?
I really need to get around to watching Mulan 2. I heard the plot is comically bad and its Extremely Goofy Movie tier in terms of dank reaction images
>>83790086
never watched it either. fuck it, that's what kickass is for, downloading
>bait
I know but let's get this out of the way in the first post
>Mulan is an ancient story, not a new age story
>Her motivation wasn't to prove girls can fight, it was to save her father from being drafted
>She wasn't supposed to be stronger than the men, she just played her strengths, which was being clever, and it makes sense for her to be smart since her family was well off
She was just a likeable and selfless character
Just finished watching this after another rewatch of Civil War.
God, I wish The MCU had balls to the wall villains and ideological conflict of the X-Men.
Civil War was a mistake. Cap and Stark are not Xavier and Magneto. The whole conflict of Civil War should have been Stark wanting to enact revenge against Bucky while Cap is trying to protect Bucky. You can remove the Sokovia Accords and nothing would change.
Apocalypse is what an ideal MCU villain should have been. Like, i really wished that in AoU Ultron was hacking into Norad and then launched all the nukes onto every city on Earth. That's what a villain should be. Apocalypse did exactly that.
Seriously, why is it that the X-Men can do MCU better than the MCU while the MCU is struggling to be like the X-Men?
No its not
Its run length is almost as uncomfortable as Batman vs Superman
Civil War is literally the perfect run length for a movie and I think Marvel has perfected this to an exact science by now
3 hour Cape films are a fucking meme
>>83789771
Don't you have some underage boys to fuck, Singer?
>>83789920
The only parts I enjoyed about the movie were Nightcrawler and ArchAngel's death being the highest of comedy
Will Rebirth give us back Selina Kyle Catwoman? The one we have now is Selina Calabrese. Literally a different person.
>>83789709
>giving a shit about Catwoman
I hope so. The gays can have Calabrese.
Real Selina should beat her ass. It's literally identity theft.
Did people forget that this is Dinah’s mother?
>>83789514
Like that would stop Ollie
>>83789514
That's been retconned a long time ago.
>>83789577
Yeah. But it's still annoying. This is Dinah Drake-Lance, not Dinah Lance.
>My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive.
Looks who's hereAlso, Zero Hourtime

>What is this storytime series all about?
Everyday for the month of June 2016 (the rare 616 Month), commemorating the 55th anniversary of Marvel Comics, I storytime certain old Earth-616 Marvel Comics issues on their anniversary/if there's pottery when their respective release dates and volume & issue numbers align. Watch out for the appearances of the numbers 6, 1, and 6, in that order.
>For what purpose?
Milestone celebrations of Earth-616, Universe-7 (the mainstream Marvel Universe before the 2015 event "Secret Wars").
>Where do I find previous storytimes in this series?

>And today I storytime...
40th anniversary of the comic book debut of The Man Called DICK RIDER, /co/'s REVERED COSMIC MARVEL SUPERHERO!
I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread on this yet, unless I missed it.
>Original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Dirty Projectors, Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants and T.I., with an additional song by David Bowie and additional lyrics by Jonathan Coulton.
>The show had previously cast a virtual unknown, Ethan Slater, in the title role of the "absorbent and yellow and porous" character from the hit Nickelodeon cartoon series. Newly added among the principals: Carlos Lopez will play Spongebob's penny-pinching boss, Mr. Krabs. Lilli Cooper will play SpongeBob’s close friend Sandy Cheeks. Danny Skinner will make his Broadway debut as SpongeBob's dimwitted starfish pal Patrick. Gavin Lee (Bert in Mary Poppins) will play the sourpuss squid Squidward, and Nick Blaemire (Godspell) will play the scheming villain Plankton.
A production is currently running in Chicago.

What's the best Joker incarnation and why is it Endgame New 52 Joker?
I love Scott Snyder's Joker, but I don't know if I'd call it the BEST portrayal.

nick@nite is most annoying tan
Viacom
>Father of Nick-tan, Comedy Central-tan, and MTV-tan.
>A snide and grumpy old man at war with the corporate world
>Never seen without his three-piece Men’s Warehouse suit and his briefcase
>Talks in a disinterested monotone
>Has a perpetual thousand-yard stare like a dead fish
>Loves to prove his authority; often makes brash monetary decisions “because he can”
>As a father, he’s a strict disciplinarian. He isn’t the kind to give his daughters things they haven’t earned.
>Out of his three kids, the one he watches the closest is Nick. Comedy Central seems to support herself pretty well, so he’s not worried. MTV said she could make all her own decisions after she turned 18, and he let go ever since. (Even though he wishes he hadn’t.)
Turner
>Father of CN-tan, [as]-tan, and Boomerang
>Looks like an exact duplicate of Ted Turner
>Raised all three of his daughters on the Hannah-Barbera cartoons he watched when he was a kid, then watched as it slowly became a phase they all broke out of
>Encourages his kids to do great, even though he has no idea what they hell they’re up to most of the time
Disney
>Biological father of Disney-tan, JR-tan, and XD-tan
>Adopted father of Marvel-tan, Lucasfilm-tan, ABC-tan...
>On the surface level, he’s a sweet old man with a sense of childlike wonder
>Has by far the closest relationship with his kids
>Is the strictest of all three fathers. Will force his kids never to act out and to stay in line with his personality because, “The family has an image to uphold.”
HBO
>A jaded hotter older guy, questioning why he is being surrounded by children.
>Gives the impression of a smooth, sophisticated older gentleman
>Sees himself as an art connoisseur, because he only accepts the finest in entertainment
>Is actually just a documentary-watching pervert with some good tastes
>Rolls his eyes at the "simple-minded prudes" who surround him
Should have been Knights of Old edition.
>Nick is my favorite.
Going to story time the comic that serves as a lead in to the new Titans book.
