it's weird and sketchy in a way that doesn't really fit Barry. I think of him as more sleek with a classic 50s retro future thing.if i was really optimistic I'd say it was a choice for Barry being conflicted and whatnot at the start and we'll see it change but that's like weird and I think insulting to the artist?

Yeah, but that happens with Dick and Tim, too. Robin on the TT cartoons was pretty much 90% Tim, but they called him Dick, and now you have all these kids that "hate" Tim and think he's a boring character that's never contributed anything to Robin/the comics.
Legacies that surpass the originals, only to have the originals have better name-recognition and steal their successor's thunder...it's always sad to see.
