BURBANK, CA – DC’s REBIRTH line-wide relaunch continues to be a huge hit with fans, as more issues from the June title lineup head into their second printings. In addition to TITANS: REBIRTH #1, written by Dan Abnett with art by Brett Booth, Norm Rapmund and Andrew Dalhouse, the following new issue #1’s will also be going back to print: SUPERMAN #1 (Peter J. Tomasi, Pat Gleason, Mick Gray, John Kalisz), BATMAN #1 (Tom King, David Finch, Matt Banning, Jordie Bellaire), GREEN LANTERNS #1 (Sam Humphries, Robson Rocha, Jay Leisten, Blond) and GREEN ARROW #1 (Benjamin Percy, Otto Schmidt).
Spinning out of Geoff Johns’ DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH #1, these titles continue this new universe of storytelling featuring the most iconic characters in comics and the best writers and artists in the business. More titles are scheduled to debut now through October, with many of them appearing on shelves twice monthly, so fans will continue to get more of the excitement and action that’s made DC a fan-favorite for more than 80 years.
Each second printing will feature the comic’s original cover art but will replace the blue curtain image with recolored REBIRTH banners at the top. These issues will arrive in comic retail stores July 13 at the original $2.99 cover price.

Wow, are there any Rebirth issues that haven't instantly gone to second printing yet? I wonder if Rebirth hype will run out of steam by the time the July books start launching
Bravo. Well deserved!
>>83807542
With the July books they have time to adjust orders to the apparent actual demand before they come out so the second printings will probably slow but the numbers will still be high.
I'll just leave this here...
What's the problem?

How far would Batman go to interrogate?

Flay them alive. Beat them to the point of certain death, then give them medical treatment. Rinse and repeat.
>>83806707
Well if you ask the Commissioner
>>83806707
not that far. he won't kill you and if you weren't by any tall buildings he couldn't threaten to drop you.
If batman wold actually be willing to grow up and rape criminals then he might actually start making a dent in their population.

>"Announcing a new home for Cartoon Hangover.
Thanks to the folks at Ellation, Cartoon Hangover will later this year be part of a brand new subscription service called VRV (you pronounce it “verve”). As you can imagine, we’re pretty well stoked.
In a nutshell, VRV will be a collection of channels including Cartoon Hangover, Rooster Teeth, Crunchyroll, Geek & Sundry, Nerdist, Seeso, and more. Subscribers can pay for the whole shebang or smaller packages of different channel combinations. Individual options will also be available. No prices are announced, yet. VRV will be available on your mobile devices as well as on the usual TV platforms, including Microsoft’s Xbox One.
Does this mean what you think it means? Well, we’re not sure what you think it means, but we are confirming Cartoon Hangover on VRV will be your destination for new episodes of 'Bravest Warriors' and 'Bee and PuppyCat.' Expect new shows, too, from Frederator Studios and other top-notch producers. Talk about burying the lede!"
Seriously, fuck you, Cartoon Hangover, and fuck Bravest Warriors and Bee & Puppycat.

How has everyone felt about this weeks wave of issues?
Superman - Good but Boy of Murder
Batman - Good? It was kind of cool seeing Batman save an airplane but it was also kid of dumb
Green Lanterns - A lot better then I expected which wasn't much.
Green Arrow - Just as good as the Rebirth special
Titans - Good but just another preview. Also Blue Dick is back.
Loved Green Arrow, liked Green Lanterns and Titans, didn't care for Batman but it wasn't bad, only skimmed Superman but my heart's not in it so I'll probably just hold off until there's a writer I like on either of the main books.
>>83806489
This. Maybe I should give King some time to get into stride but the issue was just kind of eventless.
>Superman
another case of Tomasi being one of those writers for safe, middle-of-the-road stories, artwork is nice
>Batman
the scripts are pretty lean and overly wordy like the previous run, but king seems to be having his artists pack all the symbolism and references into the visuals. makes for a better appreciation of art imo
>Green Lanterns
Art is nothing special, and the writing isn't either, but there are ticks that I like here and things that I don't. also, it seems we're doomed to writers rehashing johns characters instead of making new ones
>Green Arrow
No problems here. Great comic and Percy has finally hit his stride after ten+ issues of GA
>Titans
while it wasn't as bad as abnett's aquaman, there's some clumsy meta text here and there but overall an enjoyable issue marred by booth art
Dayum.

>Whenever people ask me if anything 'surprised' me about Japan, this is usually my answer. I'm not sure I ever saw what we would think of as a 'normal' bar in Kurihara. It was all Snack Bars. I only ever want to one alone once, and it was a very strange and expensive evening. It ended when I saw one of the ladies take some money out of the wallet of a passed out patron and then call him a cab. You knew this was not the first time they had this interaction. Seemed like a good time to head home.

>Marvel and ABC News are partnering for a live-stream event to discuss "Civil War II" #2 and the issue's ramifications, with Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso, writer David Walker ("Power Man & Iron Fist") and FiveThirtyEight's Walter Hickey.
>As revealed on Marvel's official Twitter, the event is set for Thursday, June 16th at 3pm ET, and will stream stream live on ABC News from the network's headquarters in New York City.
>The event marks the second episode in the series, after last week's first installment with "Civil War II" scribe Brian Michael Bendis, Marvel CCO Joe Quesada and Tech Insider's Kirsten Acuna.
