Why do comic book fans care about continuity?
I never thought I'd see the day where, "they retconned Spider-Man's origin" was a valid or noteworthy criticism on par with "the book's glacier pacing does nothing to establish the plot"
>Character is weak to ice
>It's an entire arc/major conflict in the story
>60 issues later, nothing really changes that or is mentioned
>Bad guy uses ice
>Not affected

What if the issue where he isn't weak to ice Eisner worthy?

It's an awful story by default because it shits all over continuity, the only marker of how good a comic book story is
