The only answer is Zombie Island.

"The fictional heroes of the past, while still retaining all of their charm and power and magic, have had some of their credibility stripped away forever as a result of the new sophistication in their audience. With the benefit of hindsight and a greater understanding of anthropoid behavior patterns, science fiction author Philip Jose Farmer was able to demonstrate quite credibly that the young Tarzan would almost certainly have indulged in sexual experimentation with chimpanzees and that he would just surely have had none of the aversion to eating human flesh that Edgar...

Leftist paranoia and ethnomasochism goggles are hardly any kind of "sophistication". All I see here is cynicism with deconstructionism fixed firmly in a leftist...

Is Pixar in decline?
no.
>>77950409
Yes and have been for half a decade
The last movie from them I actively wanted to see was The Incredibles and the last one I actually did see was Up, so I'd say yes.
How do you feel about France increasing the visibility of the blonde, teenage catboy demographic?
As an unapologetic ouiaboo, I approve :3
>>77950352
About time we had some representation for catboys.
Thank you based France.
>>77950352
I'm ok with this
do you want to list off every animal-based superhero team cartoon capitaliasing on the success of TMNT?, Where any of them any good?

Was this ever a cartoon? My brother and I only played the game.
Can someone explain me why is he laying there?
His arc-reactor wasn't attached to his body like Tony.
he's dead. Heart Attack
>>77950146
Without the reactor, the suit is unpowered and non-functional.
Tony's isn't attached to him anymore.
How would real life be different today if he had stayed dead? How would DC be different? Would kids today still know his name?
It wouldn't matter at all. Him being dead wouldn't stop them from making movies or cartoons or video games or whatever else kids learn superheroes from. Kids are not reading comics and it was only 20 years ago. Lois and Clark, STAS, Smallville, etc would have all still been made.
>>77950124
Interesting question, casuals don't know him from comics but would knowing he's dead in comics reduce his pop culture status?
I guess it depends on whether there'd still be merchandise, cartoon, tv show and movie appearances etc...
>>77950164
>>77950177
I posed the question with characters like Gwen Stacy in mind. Sure, she makes occasional appearances in media and occasionally writers try to bring her back (via clone or shapeshifting or something like that) but for all intents and purposes, she is dead.
Thoughts on a series that had nothing to do with the movie?
>>77949451
as a fun action cartoon, it was pretty great. Basically if you took out the primary goofenders (the broomheaded chick with the extra chromosome and the chameleon guy trying very hard to be the genie but failing to be anything but irritating) it would be perfect. Just that right amount of 'this kicks enough ass that we don't care if the premise seems silly on its own'
i also seem to remember an episode where mullet-michelangelo and brad garrett duck were having a chat about how one cartoon dog can...

>>77949451It had Tim Curry, Tony Jay, Clancy Brown, and Frank Welker as primary villains. 10/10
>>77950582
yeah that always hit me too. as a kid i was like "oh man it's that one badguy that's always the bad guy.. oh dude there's the other. oh shit there's that OTHER one. jesus it's all of them"
Lex Motherfucking Luthor one of the greatest capeshit villains of all time is now a gay meme joke.
Bravo DC.
Everything will become a gay meme joke anon. Even you.

/co/, one of the greatest boards, is now a place for shitposting about live-action movies and tv shows.
Bravo mods.
>>77949132
That's always been the Joker. Lex has been mediocre in all of his live-action appearances.
What does /co/ think of Grant Morrison's bat epic as a whole?
From Son of the Batman to Batman Inc.
Should I read it?
>>77948492
>What does /co/ think of Grant Morrison's bat epic as a whole?
There's more than one person on /co/, some like it, some don't, same as everything else.
>Should I read it?
If you want to read it, go for it. If you don't, then don't. Can't you make your own decisions?
>>77948634
terrible post.
/co/ for discussion you dummy.
Anon if you accept that at one point Batman was having crazy Sci-Fi adventures and want to experience some of them, then go right ahead. But if you just like your batman super serious and Frank Millery than you probably won't like it.
Does a time traveling spy organization running Batman sound interesting to you? If so read it, if not, oh well I'll just have to enjoy it for the both of us.
So in the episode "jack the monks and the ancient master's son" Jack goes back to save the two monks instead of entering the time portal.
But if he went back in time and beat Aku, wouldn't that change the future so that the monks were never in danger anyway?
Someone please rationalize this, because it pissed me off and made no sense.
>>77947829
everyone makes bad decisions
>>77947985
So the explanation is he just fucked up? And even if the monks did die, how many millions would Jack have saved by using the portal?
>>77948035
again everyone makes a bad decision sometimes is really just it
He wouldnt allow the monks to die but didn't think about the long term
he made a quick decision and failed at it
