Xaaron was the leader of the Autobot resistance on Cybertron in the Marvel comics (mostly UK but also featured a little bit after Furman took over the US run). Roberts wanted him in MTMTE because he is a Marvel UK fanboy but I don't think he's actually used the character for anything interesting.
