What do you guys thing?
>Barry travels to another world (again)
>This time meets supergirl
>Supergirl is not on his Earth or will later be
>All villains in main comics/cartoons are spread between Earths
WHY did they do this? Why are these shows "different earth" shows?
What next? Barry travels to see Sam an Dean or Sherlock or fucking Dr Who?
WHAT IT CAN FUCKING HAPPEN IN THIS WORLD RIGHT?
god damn it.
> What next? Barry travels to see Sam an Dean
That sounds awesome. Barry can challenge The Darkness to a race and help save the day.
At this point, the whackier the better. It's comics for fucksake.

I WANT THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE GOD DAMN IT
Well ok yeah that would sound interesting but My concern is that this is fucking comics and Supernatural from what I know isn't. Right?
>>81280129
Well, the separate universes for the Supes and Flash/Arrow are because they're on different networks.
Looking forward to The Fix#1 next week and was a huge fan of Superior Foes and Ant-Man. Couldn't get into Bedlam. What other Nick Spencer stuff does /co/ recommend?
Been eyeing up the Morning Glories Omnibus. Should I pick it up?
Foes was a fluke
Spencer is a Marveldrone and a faggot. Fuck him.

There's nothing wrong with Tulip being black.
In order:
Don't care.
Sucks.
Wasn't he an asshole in the first issue though? He was a bitter drunkard when he was a preacher.
FUCK.
FUCK.
FUCK.
FUCK.
Don't care that much. There are other words.
First Lucifer now Preacher. Why fucking bother taking these great properties if you are gonna suck out what made them so great?

My wife's son and I agree.
This was a hot topic a while back when some believed that X-Fans were about to be blessed with a world separate from the rest of the Marvel Comedic Universe.
The point has been danced around before, with the argument usually being made that we lose super important stuff like Wolverine showing up in Avengers to joke with Spider-Man and Captain Propaganda, but people rarely address this question specifically:
What would the X-Men lose by being in their own universe?
How would that hurt X-Men stories?
>>But then AvX and Mega...

X-Men should have always been in their own universe. It's hard to take the anti-mutant sentiment seriously when their numerous superheroes who's powers are unrelated.
>>81278452
If somehow x-men were going to be in the MCU, is probably going to be MCU2, like an AU inside the movieverse, in that way they dont have to explain the existence of mutants in the MCU, to be more specific in earth 19999
It helps them because then they could become the high budget ABC show they were always meant to be.
Just keep the cast small, mainly pic related from Astonishing X men, plus Storm and Armor and you're golden.
What went wrong?
>>81278322
Family guy
TBS happened, and they started trying to be "edgy".
>>81278322
nothing. It's better than the last 10 years of Family Guy
So what's the deal with this guy?
he's autistic

Convicted child molester. Clarence is just irresistible

So he's just like us?
"Villains" who did nothing wrong

Easily the hypest DC page since the New 52 started.
>taking it up the ass
>doing nothing wrong
bottom, please
>>81277189
But he did everything wrong.
I have a pretty good working knowledge of the DCU but I hear this is pretty continuity heavy. Is there anything in particular I should read before this?
>>81277145
You should have an idea of Morrison's concepts regarding the DCU in general. I highly recommend Animal Man, his JLA run, and Seven Soldiers
it mostly serves as a climax to Grant Morrison's overarching epic
essentials only:
>Jack Kirby's New Gods
>Crisis on Infinite Earths
>Morrison's JLA
>Morrison's Seven Soldiers
>Final Crisis (with Superman Beyond)

>>81277402
What about Countdown and Death of the New Gods, where they show why/how Darkseid dies and gets sent back in time?
Gearing up to binge read the commonly recommended graphic novels over the next few weeks.
Yes, I am a complete causal. But that's also why I'm here, to get recommendations for books to add to my pull list.
The Dark Knight Returns
The Killing Joke
The Sandman Vol. 1
Watchmen
Alias
Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 1
All-Star Superman
Batman: Year One
Batman: The Long Halloween
Batman: Dark Victory
Batwoman: Elegy
Green Arrow: Year One
Kingdom Come
Wonder Woman: Gods and...

Complete trash that only causals enjoy.
Along with the rest of your list.
Kill yourself and never return.

Get a load of this guy
>>81276990
>Alias
>Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 1
Add Ulitmate Vol. 2 to that.
And then, aside from maybe Daredevil, never read anything by Bendis again.
Speaking of which, add Daredevil: Born Again to that.
How come MattxClaire > MattxKaren /co/?
>not MattxElektra
>>81276971
Because white girls ain't shit.
Even when they look like DAW
>>81276971
Karen was kinda shit the first season.
Claire was more relevant and didn't have to deal with any CW-tier drama. Plus Matt and Claire acted like grown-ups when they decided to break things off and decided they both wanted different things. Not to mention the episode centered around her was totally ballin'.
The Disney Renaissance is generally thought to have ended after 1998's Mulan and 1999's Tarzan. Do you agree with this? Why do you think the end of the 90's brought with it the end of the era and the change to different films? Was the Renaissance formula wearing thin by the Late 90's? Are Mulan and Tarzan as good as the other films in the Renaissance?
Both Mulan and Tarzan were solid movies, and I wouldn't have midned the Renaissance lasting a bit more. I did like that they tried to change it up, but it clearly didn't work well for them.
Disney died with Walt.
He never got to finish the monolith task of Disney city.
The only good Disney movies
>BH6
>Zootopia
>Lion King
>Everything From Hunchback to Tarzan
What ells should be brought back as a comic?
Sam and Max
my mommy...
i work with an autistic 10-year-old who loves gravity falls, the teen titans (specifically robin, specifically dick grayson) and thought that using comics as a way to connect with him and explore how different characters show emotion would be a fun exercise since it has an interest point for him.
however, he is a 10-year-old and i don't know much about teen titan or gravity falls storylines. i'm hoping that you guys could point me to some runs that would be suitable for his age. feel free to ask questions about myself or my work but i will need to limit some info due to ethical reasons
for some fun opinions he holds:
teen titans>young justice>teen titans go
robin>everyone else>raven
Give Tiny Titans a shot.

Not Op but I feel the art style won't help that kid.

looking it up now. what's the thoughts?
What wentwrong?
Kristen Bell got too much sway and made her quirky and a foot-in-mouth fuck-up in her own image.
The problem is that Anna is, essentially, a middle class commoner American contemporary girl. However, since Anna the character is a princess who's second in line to the throne, her middle class hopes and thinking only of herself come across as self-centred and obnoxious because she doesn't give a shit about her duties to the country
She's the main character when her sister was infinitely more interesting. Even putting aside how much I wish Elsa had just gone straight villain, Anna was a terrible choice for a lead.
>>81275793
She didn't have fire powers
Hack getting people hyped forprobablynothing
What do you guys think it is?
Is this about journal 3, or something else?
Also how the fuck are you supposed to know the one canon thing in a book that's not canon? How does that even work?
