Haven't been on /co/ in a while, but what did people think of Luthor in BvS?
I thought the movie had it's strong points and bad points, but this guy I fucking loved. The rooftop scene with him is probably the best on screen Lex Luthor ever I think, despite how he differs in a other ways from the traditional depiction

Okay, this isn't specifically about BvS(personally I don't think it sucked, though it does leave a lot to be desired, like a curvier WW for example), but what do you think about Ben Affleck? How does he compare to other batmen?Is he more towards Bale? Or Clooney? Or anyone else?
I mean, I enjoyed him buffing up, grumbled and gruntled and totally shook off his babyface charm, but there is something that's missing from his batman characters. He's good, he's VERY good, but just short of being great

The movie didn't do much with him
Batfleck is solid. It's just that a lot of scenes are cut short not giving them enough time to set in.Superman just blows, easily the most boring part of the movie until the 2nd half
After Zootopia, can Moana live up to expectations? Seriously, the former was so good that I'm afraid the latter will fall short, like what happened last year with The Good Dinosaur having to follow Inside Out.

although, pre-Flashpoint Superman has been in the new 52 universe for a while and he's going to star in Action Comics

Been reading Grant Morrison's Animal Man, it's pretty intense so far. I've also been reading the Ballad of Halo Jones, and it's pretty great. Finished Martian Manhunter: American Secrets, Kingdome Come, V for Vendetta, The Multiversity, and Alan Moore's Albion. They were all pretty good, Multiversity waas pretty crazy stuff. I really enjoyed Pax Americana in particular. I also read Plastic Man's series. I really couldn't take the art. I thought, "The cover is interesting." Then the whole book was like that.
