Why did a lot of Super Heroes back in the days get their powers by Radioactive waste?
Nuclear weapons and by extension all things radioactive were the tightest shit that people could imagine back in the day. People absolutely loved nuclear everything. The bikini was designed specifically because of the Hydrogen Bomb tests at Bikini Atoll.
>>81345117
Because back in the day all anyone could ever think about was how atom bombs could wipe them out at any moment.
>>81345117
How many actually got it from radioactive WASTE besides Daredevil?
Jessica Jones and the TMNT don't count because it was the same damn truck that got Matt.
Why do people get so mad about Harley being an anti-hero now?
She's just the female Deadpool but not as bad since she hasn't be invited to the Justice League and absolved by Superman

I like it.

Stop making this thread, Jeff.

Anyone else disappointed that they pussied out on actually showing Frank's family being gunned down?
I felt that for Punisher's character, we really needed to see how horrible it was.
>edgy series wasn't edgy enough
Sure Rick, sure.

Nice buzzwords gayboy
Showing Frank's family getting killed would have pushed his moral conviction forward a little too much in a series where Frank is supposed to be morally wrong and Daredevil CAN SAVE EVERYONE.
They do everything they need to with Frank for the character they're establishing him as, imo
The name you get is the name of Disney's next princess

>What it came down to was that I realized I wanted to do a series called All-Star Batman that would invite all-star artists to work on some of the best characters in the world and kind of reinvent them within continuity for the Batman mythos. So I pitched him on a crazy Two-Face story
>The story takes them on the road. That’s one of the fun things that I pitched John on. If we do this story,...

>he's planning on "reinventing" a bunch of characters.
Goddammit Snyder. That worked out so great with Mr Freeze and Joker.
>>81343225
Didn't he also say that this was going to feature an older Batman? I think he said it was going to be his The Dark Knight Returns.
Shit batsuit right there.

Try again.
what was 'fun' about the Dark Knight trilogy?
Meme magic
It was fun to watch, Randolph.
It was a constant thrill ride of interesting characters with a fantastic ongoing narrative and some really awesome action scenes. It also contains plenty of dark humor, double conversations and sarcastic one-liners. Literally every time Alfred and Lucius are on screen, it's probably another sarcastic line and you practically never knew what Joker was going to do next whether he'd make you laugh or freak you out.
On top of that, the directing was phenomenal (outside of TDKR) and brought Batman to life on the big screen in a way not seen since Batman Returns while...

FIRST FOR NEW EPISODE
Post yfw Miguzi
Do you guys remember if there has ever been a portrayal of the Joker quite like what Leto describes?
All that stuff about anarchy and crap, mostly. But even the visuals just seem...off.
>inb4 Duane Capizzi's who was the same old guy we know cosplaying as Blanka
I really hate those news stories about how CURAZY he is. They're just really try-hard
Visuals
>All-Star Batman and Robin
>Grant Morrisons Bat Epic
>Alex Ross' portrait of Joker and Harley
Personality
>Pretty much any interpritation of the character

Elaborate dragon tattoo on the back is not the same as prison tats everywhere and a fucking grill.
Flawless movie/comic/cartoon scenes. Post 'em.

As much as I dislike the movie, that scene and the casting were great

Radioactive Spider Blood-kwang

The art of the Spider.
If I recall, it's an actual thing in the comics where Peter's doing some made up martial arts.
Hijacking this thread to ask a better question
I want to start getting into Spidey. What are the best trades I can pick up to start? I can read smaller runs any time on my phone, but bigger stuff I prefer to have in physical.
Also, how do I get started on that Spidey Gwen?
Punisher and Fisk was awesome, the rest of the series was really goddamn boring.
Did you like Elektra?
>>81338923
Elektra was pretty good, my dick seemed to appreciate her. I think they blew their load on killing her like that though only to resurrect her next season. But I think that was part of the problem with season 2. Like, they probably hashed out the first four episodes and knew they had some great shit, but then when they got to the remainder of the season, they didn't really know what to do with the Hand.
>>81338923
I liked Eleckra. I liked season 2.
Too much Karen though
