to be with the rube
So, I have never get into the Arrow show (too corny for me, I tried, but I couldn't get past it, sorry).
But I am into the S.H.I.E.L.D. show.
While I always like that character, there was a lot of people who actually hated Sky/Daisy Jones.
But over times and as she progressively become an Inhumans supremacist who want to torture normies when she see fit and force terragenesis on all inhuman, regardless of what they want, people here on /co/ have progressively grown on her and she is now an overall liked Character.
Now, I don't Follow Arrow,...

well, SKy got brain damage, and forgot she was a super elite haxor. so, that went along way into making her tolerable.
>>81275168
At this point, Felicity's overstayed her welcome. The most beneficial thing she can do to the series is die and inspire Oliver to be a better hero.
I was really hoping once Season 5 ended we'd have full Green Arrow and a Black Canary love interest but we're nowhere near that now.
>>81275253
>well, SKy got brain damage
No, that was Fitz who did.
>and forgot she was a super elite haxor
She is still good with computer. (is her comic counterpart too, btw?)
>hire only the best talent available
>sift their work through focus group after focus group, broadening its appeal to the lowest common denominator and destroying whatever creative vision the artists once had
Why must Disney do this?
They could still make billions if they were more daring, if they trusted themselves to their creativity they way Walt once did.
And just think of how much less bland Frozen would have been if Elsa were the villainess like she was supposed to be.
>>81274579
But people now have and "expectation" of how it should be, and if they move too far away people will say it's moving away from what it was. Or something like that. And they are still doing good so I guess they are thinking, why fix what isn't broken.
>>81275252
>And they are still doing good
at making money
>>81274579
They make millions precisely because they carefully appeal to the widest audience possible. Trying to be daring got them their biggest box office bombs.
Are you excited for the New PPG?
I watched that episode they released on iTunes and it sucked balls.
The little things like Buttercup flexing, Bubbles being more aggressive and just the way they made Blossom swallow her food just looks weird as fuck.
Not mention the fucking animation errors.

Why is it so hard for DC to write a good Barbra Batgirl book?
There's only been like one and she's existed for decades now
shame i liked that art too
>>81274454
Because Barbara is a shit character. They should just use the Dick Grayson method of having her play at being someone else in order to make the book somewhat enjoyable.
>>81274454
Because whenever they get dangerously close to making Barbra interesting, they do shit like in your pic.
Since the dust has certainly settled by now, how was Kick Buttowski? Would it have been a better show if the deal with Robbie Knievel didn't fall apart and they kept the original characters that they had announced?
Would've been better if it wasn't directed by Chris Savino.
I remember the fandom
All that gay shipping, oh boy, but fucking comfy
>>81274457
how was this show "Comfy"?
I'd have to say it was in Co-Dependent's Day when he was driving drunk and tried to frame Marge for it. Keeping in mind I really haven't watched anything past Season 15 so there's probably much I don't know about.
I think that episode would be the most popular answer aside from jokey "the show should have ended with Season 10" answers. Otherwise, probably something from the Scully era.

Homer technically didn't kill Maude or that trucker guy.
>>81273898
For all intents and purposes.
Why did they do this
This was not one of TBS' better episodes. The Fung whatever his name was joke got old at the beginning of the episode, and it literally kept forcing it's way in until both the A and B plots were torn apart and ultimately unresolved. Then it ends with another less than funny joke about cheap Chinese knock-offs.
Because they already jumped the shark?
Because American Dad has been dead for at least four seasons.
Really Roiland? I guess we know rick and mortys Target audience

>>81272896
are you getting offended from a joke?
Let's talk about Green Arrow.
Barring the usual reservations, I'm pretty pleased with seeing Oliver Queen resemble his old look a bit more in the Rebirth stuff. Arrow misses the mark as a show, and I don't see GA getting something along the lines of a cartoon that'll do him justice anytime soon. I hope the comics return to form. What are you hoping for?
>>81272872
>Arrow misses the mark
I GET IT
>>81272872
I'm just hoping for the comics letting him be the character he always was instead of capitalizing on the success of Arrow and turning him into Arrow-Oliver. Arrow-Oliver has no personality, all they do is have other characters describe like he is Batman, but that doesn't make him an entertaining character.
>>81272872
Has one of the best rouges ever.
>ITT: Vaguely describe a /co/ character and anons try go to guess them

>Fake blonde quirky cute female sidekick with a STEM background
>Instantly becomes a fan favourite
>Popularity ruins the character

Felicity Smoak...
You know, the less you talk about her, the less recognition she'll get
>character who was around for 20 years
>in purgatory for about 5
>came back with a new spin on their old shtick
>became a fan favorite
>appeared in two three separate runs from the main title
>got their own mini
>was killed off during an event with questionable means
>still has a loyal fan base to this day

Harley Quinn
So I said, "Provide Earth's location by sending an all-sky distribution in galactic coordinates of the ∼8600 x-ray-bright low-mass young stars identified by the ROSAT satellite. Have them follow the brightly lit breadcrumb trail."
Then some wise guy had to go and say, "You only need information on six stars, Anon. We [all] learned this inStargate".
You're delusional, Anon#2! They [Stargates] use constellations; arbitrary grouping of stars, 88 of which are recognized by modern astronomers. A constellation pattern has no fucking...

The symbols represent a planet within the constellation not the entire constellation. It's still a stupid addressing scheme though.

south park is anime, and we all know how much shippers love animeim conflicted because i hate anime but south park is pretty good
There's a reason they're shipped but that's not it. (Consider more why there's so much Ed Edd and Eddy shipping for instance)

/co/ can you recommend me some "fun" comics?
You know, stories that don't take themselves too seriously with every theme they try to shove down your pie hole. They can be from any genre as long as they're simple and good ol time to read.
Examples of shit I'm looking for: Pic related, Uncle Creepy, Invincible, World War Kaiju etc.
>>81269827
>Invincible
>fun
Jack Staff
Miami Vice Remix
The Cowboy Wally Show and Plastic Man by Kyle Baker, the latter in particular even has a final story arc that makes fun of serious comic moments.
Remake
Afrodisiac and Street Angel
Infinite Kung Fu
>>81269883
It's SUPER fun. Think of the plot of any invincible arc and you'll realise how fun it is.
