Greek Gods is the best.
All other yogurts are nigger-tier, with the exception of homemade.
>being a snob about some shitty sweetened adulterated garbage yogurt
>it's probably not even from grass fed cows
>it's probably "low fat" or "nonfat" or "guilt free" nonsense
You're on the same level as those retards bickering over the best fast food restaurant. You're eating "yogurt" for people who don't like yogurt, while trying to impress others with your superior shit taste.
Here, try a yogurt that...

Noob here any tips on roasting taters to perfection? Got me some goose fat too.
Par boil them first, then fluff the edges up by shaking the par boiled potatoes in a colander.

also let them cool completely in the fridge before putting them in the hot fat
Here is the only roast potato recipe you will ever need:
Ingredients
1 bag (5 Pounds) Red Potatoes, Cut Into Chunks
4 cloves Garlic, Minced
1 whole Onion, Peeled And Roughly Chopped
2 whole Green Bell Pepper, Seeded And Roughly Chopped
2 whole Red Bell Pepper, Seeded And Roughly Chopped
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/2 stick Butter, Melted
1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Kosher Salt And Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
In a large bowl, toss together the potatoes, garlic, onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, olive oil, butter, seasoned salt, cayenne pepper and some kosher salt and pepper.
Pour potatoes onto two rimmed baking sheets. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, shaking the pan twice.
Raise the heat to 500 degrees and bake until crisp and brown, 15 to 20 minutes, tossing twice.
Sprinkle with a little more salt and pepper before serving.
Notes: I use russets and it's still really good. You can leave out the bell pepper. Bacon fat is an acceptable alternative to butter.
>real cheese
>craft beer
>artisan bread
>made with real fruit
When will pretentious hipsters stop pretending to like this gay shit? It's anti-American and honestly it probably doesn't even taste good.
Pic related, MUH NATURAL, everything is natural, I'm not eating this hippie shit. They should just go back to Iraq.
What is the point of this thread?
>implying that cheese would not be delicious

>It's anti-American
Yeah, drinking your european produced Bud Light, is way more american than drinking delicious craft beer
Do you like flatbread? Wich one do you think it's the best?
Pita,Chapati, naan, tortilla, arepa, all included.
I've tried making chapati but they resultado too crumbly and break when folded. Then i've tried the same doguh but with yeast and ended much better.
Pic related are "tortas fritas" (fried cakes), my local version of flatbread.
I used to make it a lot, but it's too much work. I make regular bread exclusively now.
Flatbread's great, as is bread in general, but flatbreads seem to combine better with things while risen bread stands on its own more. The connection between the end result and the ingredients and process feels simpler and more obvious with flatbreads too.
Shameless self bump
Anyone notice the swiss cake rolls got bigger?

>>7249204
they're 5.55 where I live
So many years of buying them because it's all I could afford, and now it's all I want. I love that place.
I usually call-in a sausage deep dish. It's $8.
>>7249204
Do they still suck? Yes?
Then no. I won't be getting one anytime soon.
I got a free one at the Detroit Red Wings game back on December 14th. It was cheese and salt flavored cardboard.

I've been hospitalized a half dozen times over as many months in 2015. All stays were at the Veteran's Hospital. Their food was 100x better than that. And there was plenty of it.
-coffee
-tea
-soup broth
-grape juice
-orange juice
-blackened chicken breast
-roasted potatoes
-mixed steamed vegetables
-bread and butter
-various desserts (pudding, cake, cookies, etc)
That was one lunch.

I'm in an NHS hospital in Britain, here's the menu
How do you roast garlic? I've got this awesome bulb from the farmers market and I want to use it up.
Can I just put the whole bulb in the oven at 400 or so for 10 minutes or so?
cut the top off (about 1/3 height) and sprinkle some olive oil over it
Cut the top off the bulb, rub a bit of oil onto it, then wrap in foil and roast at 200C for about 45 minutes. I usually make this when I'm roasting something else because it seems like a waste of gas. Once it's done you should be able to squeeze the soft cloves out of their skins and spread it like butter.
Hello /ck/.
For a couple weeks now I've been cooking a lot myself for health reasons.
Inevitably I decided to get some fish, and nothing seemed easier than buying a frozen fish and putting it in the oven.
I bought a frozen whole headless cod, and simply put it in the oven until it was cooked. No thawing or anything, just keeping in 2 hours on low temperature and then on higher temp for another 30 min-1 hour.
After eating most of the fish, I actually paid attention to the fact that it wasn't gutted (I assumed it would be).
Was this dangerous?...

i don't cook and eat organ meats in the animal, but i'd assume as long as you cooked it to temp, you'll be fine. Guts are usually avoided due to parasites, and heat kills them (if it's up to temp), and the same goes for bacteria, so you'll be fine.
Don't worry about it and sperg yourself into being sick
RIP in peace OP your done for

desu my stomach kind of feels weird, but i did eat an entire cod accompanied by 2 cucumbers as "salad".
Given the amount of time I've been baking the fish, I'm pretty confident I killed the parasites.

guacamole is shit without salt and pepper senpai
Do you pre-heat the oven?
Why wouldn't you unless specified?
>>7248864
Not all the time - only when I need to for cooking.
Preheating (typically) does one thing
regardless of how powerful or shitty your oven is, the cook time is identical, which is good for recipes.
Also I assume that putting food in a preheated oven reduces total cook time and potentially limits fluid loss.
Tomato sauce is the most overrated food on the earth
It just tastes like sweet acidic chunky water
Ever put a bit of sugar in the tomato sauce? It tones down the acidic levels and if the sauce is coming out watery someone is fucking up.

I guess billions of people CAN be wrong. Are they wrong about onions, too? And salt?
