What if people think it smells bad? Also so many things could go wrong, such as overcooking or undercooking.

I've been to beer festivals in virtually every corner of the US, and the only constant is that Lagunitas is always there, regardless of how small of flyover the venue, and wherever you live, you can go to any backwoods beer tasting and be sure to see someone from Lagunitas pushing their IPA.

It's decent, but I don't think I've ever actually purchased it in a store.
>>
>>7794404
That's funny. Because so far I had no luck finding Lagunitas in Europe. Neither in Austria nor in Norway where I'm living right now.
>>
I live not too far from their original location so I've tried pretty much everything they've put out in stores in the area in the past few years. I'm a drunk so I like their stronger beers. Undercover Shutdown is probably my favorite because I fall asleep after 5. I'd rather drink a 22oz of Hop Stooped then their flagship IPA. The last time I got a 12 pack of the IPA because it was on sale for like $13 it seemed more watery than the last time I had drank it because I spend a whole year drinking everything that was 8% or more abv but it's a very respectable IPA and I would never turn it down.

If so I need your advice. I was cooking vegetables on a crockpot, however I fell asleep and woke up 11 hours later. The vegetables look really dark, kind of burned up, they fall apart like they were butter and my fork was hot. They don't have a terrible taste per se.

Are these safe to eat?

It would be one thing if people used real flatware and real plates, osr ate outside using paper plates and plastic ware... But this new trend of people combining trash with nice stuff just makes me stop caring about anything else. I'm not ever sure what this thread is about.
>>
>>7794352
can you fucking read or are you just an angry autist? OP asked if the vegetables are okay to eat after left them in the crockpot too long, it's not that complicated.

they're fine, just really overcooked
>>
>>7794317
Theyre safe, yes, but literally the most overcooked vegetables on the face of the earth.

What are some foods that you're city has invented?

I'll start with my hometown, Chicago. We invented:
>Italian beef
>polish sausage
>hot dog
>pizza
>Jibarito
>Cuban sandwich
>breaded steak sandwich
>chicken parm
>meatball sub
>egg sandwich
>ice cream cone (look it up)
>popsicle (1898 worlds fair)
>Mexican tacos

Probably a few others I can't think of. What foods has your city invented?

Anyone have some ideas/recipes for amazing mac n' cheese? I was thinking of baking it in the oven with some panko crumbs and tomato slices. Any other suggestions?

Maybe it's just me, but whenever I bake tomatoes on/in something, they always come out really moist and mushy.

Maybe baking them separately and mixing or topping it with tomatoes would be better.

Why not try sun dried tomatoes?

Do you not have these in Ameriburger?

Today, I bought 4 2-litre bottles of carbonated water from Lidl thinking it was still water. It tastes like dog piss. Who the fuck drinks this shit?

So, I had an idea. Carbon dioxide is responsible - so if I could mask the flavour, I could actually avoid pouring this stuff down the drain.

Long story short, I had a blender, a watermelon, and 3 tablespoons of sugar lying around, as well as enough money lying around to run a blender on high power for two straight minutes.

The end result was actually pretty good. Like, really good. Shit. The flavour isn't overpowering, it's not too sweet, and it tastes like, well, fresh watermelon. My only gripe is that it tastes a little flat, but I suppose I could remedy this by blending the melon and adding the water later.

What are your favourite uses for that god awful carbonated water shit?

>>
Looks like it leaves this stuff as residue
>>
Still OP. Still wondering if it's worth buying enough melon to justify keeping this shit.
>>
>>7793968
It's for mixed drinks. No one buys it to drink it straight.

>M&M's might disappear from McFlurrys, Blizzards and sundaes
>Mars, the maker of the chocolate candies, promised to publicly limit sugar in its products to match rules set by global health authorities, including the World Health Organization and nutrition committees in the United States and United Kingdom.
>Because of that, it's considering taking M&M's out of dessert treats, Reuters reports, citing an unnamed industry source.
>In an email with USA TODAY, Jonathan Mudd, a spokesperson for Mars, would not comment on what products will be affected. He did say Mars is dedicated to limiting sugars in its products to less than 10% of total energy/caloric intake based on health recommendations and is working alongside suppliers and customers to "bring this commitment to life."

How to go full retard and tank your company 101. You're a candy company, you're all about sugar.

I'm thinking Chinese tonight, but I could be swayed.

Usually I go for Singapore chow mein, salt and pepper chips, curry sauce. Plus some wine and beer.

Any suggestions? What's your takeaway order?

Alternatively I'll have special curry, half rice, half chips. I had that last week though. Another favourite is hot and sour soup and salt and pepper sui Mai's.

What is the purpose of spaghetti? I know, different shapes for different sauces, blah blah blah, but what the hell does spaghetti do that other pastas don't do better? For most of my pasta dishes I'd rather use fettuccine or penne for something more substantial, or linguine for something lighter.

So, I bought these stokkies about 3 months ago or so, they've been sitting in this pack in the back of my fridge after I forgot about them. Will they be okay considering it's raw dried meat? How can I tell if they are bad? Inb4 smell test these are coated in coriander and crap and heavily scented so that might throw me off..

2nd pic

stokkies are thin strips of beef that are salted and crap so all the moisture is drained then dried its like beef jerky but no preservatives i guess

im inclined to think theyll be fine but just want 2nd opinion before i eat 3 month old meat from the back of the fridge

>>

>>7793441
It's beef jerky, pretty sure you'll be fine. Whole point of the stuff is to preserve it for long periods of time. If you're not sure have a small piece of it and wait a few hours. If nothing terrible happens you're in the clear.

What's the point of cooking?

Is it really worth 30~40 minutes of effort for one meal?

>Is it really worth 30~40 minutes of effort for one meal?
only if you think so
>>
>>7793387
That's the time it takes to make 2 or 3 of my meals. If you don't count shopping.
>>
You're trying to tell me that you count the time it takes for the food itself to cook as "effort" on your part? Are you powering the damn thing with an exercise bike or summat?
