Which one are you playing through now?
How's the run been going?
I booted up 9 for a few minutes just to see what was in my inventory. I don't think I'm even that far in the game, I'm up to that Porth Llaffan right now.

Two days ago I found my old I&II cartridge for GameBoy. I need to buy a new battery because it's dead and my save was lost.

Playing DQ1 (nes version) for the first time and man... This game is so rustic, I mean I completely understand why, it was one of the pioneers of its time.
Still getting some form of enjoyment from it though, like discovering the secrets of what to do to progress, and finally finding out the place where Gold Golems are.

Bought the season pass before the game even came out because I was on the hype train
regretted it before the DLC came out
Regretted even more when it came out and i could barely get through it before getting too bored to continue

/v/ I bought this a week ago in the Steam Sale and for the hour I played of it, it was absolutely fucking garbage. The combat was monotonous, the characters were uninteresting, and the level of linearity was unacceptable.
But I like Final Fantasy X which is called a seriously linear game.
Does FFXIII open up like FFX or is it all just that garbage?
FF13 is linear up til pulse which is pretty far into the game if I remember correctly. Honestly, if you don't like it what you've seen, i'd just refund it.
It doesn't open up until you're about 3/4 of the way through, but even then the only extra thing you get to do is some monster hunt quests. No town exploration or anything.
By the time I got to that point I couldn't have cared less. I just wanted to get it over with and finish it.

Personally. I think it has done nothing but harm to her character while bringing a bit more interest to the game due to the sex appeal. Not a feminist but the idea of a fully armored tanked female warrior is more interesting then sex suit samus.

You know for a fact that isn't true. Once a female character is sexualized in the game she is 2nd fiddle as far as character development goes. It exactly a bad thing because men are biologically inclined to like tits and we buy more games. It does mean you can never really appreciate them fully.

I think the suit was fine, initially. The problem came when it debuted in Brawl, attractive a lot of attention from other fanbases who don't give a shit about Metroid, and only think about what fanservice Sakurai is dishing out.
Then Sakamoto tarnished his own creation with Other M, followed by another huge fanservice push with Smash 4.
The problem isn't the suit per se, but it's 8 years of fanservice and failure. Cementing Samus as waifubait, with no substance to back her up.

you dont understand. it doesnt matter how good you are if the rest of your team is bad. the game is balanced around the team, not the player.
just go on competitive and you'll see. it is somehow worse than quickplay, and it is ranked, so losing only lowers your rank, meaning you get set with more/worse retards and it snowballsi started at 50, rose to 54 with a premade. i spent one day in pubs and dropped to 45
