Similar situation here, tried it out a month ago, somehow got through the tutorial area on 25fps but then it dropped below 20 when I got to the first major area. I have a 2013-tier rig but damn this is nuts, and it doesn't even look great to boot

Resident Evil 5 HD just came out on PS4 and is the definitive version.
It includes all the DLC and it finally fixes the problem of Mercenaries and Mercenaries Reunion being two separate modes by combining them into a new mode entirely called Mercenaries United.
