Loved this game. It wasn't anywhere near being flawless, but it was just so much fun. I wish we got a game inspired by it.
There was that shitty mobile game GamerGate funded, but I want an actual real game.

It even ended with some sort of sequel hook. Real shame, because I loved the hell out of this game and played it for years.
Only real big flaw was that you couldn't visit earlier levels with ghosts you've unlocked in later levels. That would've been even more fun. But god damn the whole premise of the game and how they've executed it is so unique and nice, it needs more unique games like that.

To be fair, when the developers realized that the game sold poorly and there was never gonna be a sequel, they actually worked on making a free DLC expansion with one level that concludes the story, which I thought was really nice of them.Then they never made a game ever again and nearly all of them left the game development business ;_;

Also before you even bring it up, yes it's his biggest stat - but Guts isn't pure str. Guy's got immense reflexes and wits.

The original difficulty was Japanese Hard mode it was way too fucking hard
I never even found out about the "Normal mode is actually hard mode" thing until years after I'd beaten it.
Installing DMC4 SE right now. I've been dying to get my CRAZY on, even though I'm absolute shite at combos.

I've always liked being really weak in the beginning of vidya and in BG2 you already have some of the better spells in the beginning. In BG1 a single wolf let alone a bear can fuck you up
