What happens to the rest of the world when Castlevania reappears?
Only one I can really think of is the description in Dracula's Curse, which seems to imply that the entire world is plunged into darkness by the return of Dracula. I feel like there must be some serious shit going on. Like are demons invading the world? Are people being corrupted into rapists and murderers? Do wild animals become violent? Can even weather patterns change? I'd like to see a Castlevania which explored more of this aspect of Dracula's return.

I am making a horror game that has tank controls like the golden age of survival horror (Resident Evil, Silent Hill, etc.). If you were making a horror game, what would the gameplay, atmosphere, setting, puzzles, etc. be like?

>DLC almost nonexistent, you bought a game and that was it
>Secrets, cheats and Easter Eggs were still common, unlocking things meant beating the actual game rather than having to buy extra content
>Good, solid library of games on every console
>AA titles were still a thing, companies willing to take risks with lesser-known IPs while still creating new ones altogether
6th gen appreciation thread?
The Gamecube was god tier.
The others were garbage, especially the ps2 (aka the shovelwarestation)
It was probably the best overall generation. The leap in graphics over the preceding generation was also enormous.

I really liked it. The melee was mediocre, the driving combat wasn't as plentiful as I preferred, the story was cliche, but the sum was greater than its parts and a lot of fun. I'm not much into open world games but it compelled me to search everywhere and find every item.
Wish it had multiplayer. Defending a convoy with your warboys would have been great.
Repetitive as hell with a bad fist fighting system but it looks great vehicles are fun to drive and the vehicular combat is good too oh and the classic stuff is great

So long as the enemies don't ignore their weaknesses when attacking, and so long as status ailments don't prevent healing, I'll probably enjoy it. And so long as difficulty levels don't alter your experience gained negatively.

What do you think each Link's personality is like, based on NPC dialogue, and background information?
OoT Link was probably a distant asshole due to the bullying he received in his life, it goes along with the his official art looking pretty angry most of the time.
I see Toon Link being a lazy goof, but kind, and sort of a smug asshole whenever he gets the upper hand in a fight.
Twilight Princess Link appears to be very kind and helpful, despite his artwork seemingly displaying him as a stoic badass. He enjoys working on the farm, and the simple life. I don't see him enjoying the battle as much as the other Links, he probably sees his job more as a mission than an adventure.
Skyward Sword Link was more of a self insert, considering his dialogue choices. He can any level between kind and smug asshole.
