Has anyone else started appreciating MGSV more after some time has passed?
I have just come to accept that despite it being unfinished, it never even tried to be the game the trailers made it seem to be. It was never going to be about Big Boss becoming a demon in some grandiose way. It was about how he became the kind of person he originally despised to further his own goals. We got to experience the feelings he felt at the end of Snake Eater.YOU'RE FACE, TO FACE, WITH THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD.
I keep thinking this. It failed to live up to expectaton but was probably the best game I played last year.

highly skeptical about this game. was initially inspired by the trailer, but then realized the possible faults of a procedurally created universe. Would see before buy!
Okay so I killed the blood-starved beast in Old Yharnam and got a chalice, which I'm not sure what to do with. I opened up a dungeon with it but do I need to complete that now? I thought I had to beat the Cathedral Ward boss.
Anyway so I went back to the Cathedral Ward, and there was this new door open to an elevator to a place with a radiant hunter badge and another locked door, but then I dropped down down down and got killed by some Hellknight-looking fucker throwing fireballs. Is the door he was guarding locked? Is that the way I'm supposed to go?
I went up the Cathedral boss anyway, any tips for her? I got her down to 1/3 health on the first try but it feels like my saw spear wasn't doing enough damage, is there a good place to get double shards for upgrading it? Also, does this game have level scaling? It feels like the townspeople in the new area I found were tougher than the ones in the city center. Oh, and should I use Ludwig's blade or rifle since I unlocked them?
I'm enjoying this game a lot but there's so many different routes it's kind of dizzying.

use fire paper and try going to the left area where that Cathedral boss was, leads you to an area with plenty of them

I'm at this point but I haven't found the boss, instead I got killed by one of those bastards with the Sack on their backs(Stalkers?) and got dragged into a area with powerful enemies.

Is there any reason to play Minecraft since Terraria is a thing and is 10000x more fun?
Got Terraria on a Steam sale, played it for 10 minutes, hated it, then immediately refunded my purchase. Shit was awful.

Terraria is not 3D.
That's all, really. Terraria is pretty solid now and a great adventure with friends. But minecraft is 3D lego with something they call "enemies", so it's a different experience.
Also Minecraft is more focused on building while Terraria is just a Metroidvania with destructible terrain.
