I finished my first playthrough of KOTOR 1 and 2 (I hated 2) and now I'm in an all consuming void where no game I play is as enjoyable as KOTOR.
I need something to play. Something good. Something great. Please /v/, help me.
What about Kotor 1 did you like? What about Kotor 2 did you not like? Have you played any other Bioware games?

Dragon age origin is very similar in a lot of core ways to kotor 1. I'd recommend that.

I wish the characters would shut up
I'm an autistic sidequest completer and 100% explorer, so the game has been really slow paced for me.
Worst shit I've gotten so far -
>Explore every corner of a new area
>Kill all enemies and minibosses that aren't fucking level 90
>one of the minibosses is required for a quest
>pick up the quest
>miniboss doesn't/didn't respawn
>spam timeskip to try and make him respawn
>run to other zones to try and make him respawn
fucking nothing. Put the game down after that.
One of my favorite JRPGs
My biggest complaint is while the story was great, I was kind of disappointing that it didn't dwell into more complex themes as other Takahashi-directed xenogames did
with the sequel, it was a return to form but the focus of X was away from story so it left much to be desired
personally cannot wait for the next game since it'll have more of a focus on story and probably a more gears/saga esque story as xenoblade 1 was the odd one out as an experiment

the constant speaking is required in battles because the game is balanced around synergizing attacks with your party and that would be very difficult with visual quest alone
also I think you have to just save and load your save to make the minibosses appear

Damn I loved this game
but it's probably too late to join anon, unless they made new servers for the stream release or something.
The problem is you get stronger by recruiting better mercs, and a lot of those mercs were obtainable during limited events or via cash shop, and once you reach lvl 100 you need to spend some real dosh for them to learn the "good" skills. After that I'm guessing they added more cash shop fuckery to upgrade items or whaetever because most players weren't happy.
Also doing dungeons was almost impossible, since everyone is idle farming AFK and nobody is actually questing and running dungeons.
I actually played in the korean beta, and I played a team without a healer, so I couldn't really AFK grind, it super intense and micro heavy if you played like that, but I loaded all my characters with heavy CC so I could survive even without a healer.
No idea how it is right now, but seriousl it must be impossible to catch up, and the game was always filled with BR bots just afk farming which made grinding really hard.
Why didn't you play Gunparade March yet?
To liken it to games /v/ might know, it's something like Persona meets Front Mission, during the school days you'll have to talk with different characters, go to class, etc.. But there are also missions you must clear in some points of the game with mechas, because the earth is under attack by an alien race. The mechas are customizable, changing weapons, etc. The relationships with the different characters in school will also affect their performance in the battlefield.

I have. It's kind of slow and I didn't feel like investing the proper time into it. Plus I don't really like SRPGs.
Out of what I played it's really cool though. Amazing amount of depth and the battle system is very unique. The character portraits are mostly ugly as fuck.

It's not going to be a new game, it's going to be a RDR 'remaster', similar to on GTA Vs, with online on new systems, a new gold system (similar to the credit card shark in GTAV), first person mode like GTA V, and "enhanced physics"(This is really just swimming from what I can tell, and a few other things for first person mode) announced at E3, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. F-Zero GX has shitty character designs and some of the tracks are fucking lazy cylinders where you don't even have to steer because you'll come around full circle. I won't even bother with Black Bull.
Gianna Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a unique take on a tired platformer formula. The graphics are better than Tropical Dong and the soundtrack would bring David Wise to his knees.
