Why did 47 kill Diana?
He literally walks through the door, shoots her, then says "I should kill you", before refusing to finish her off. She tells him to take care of the girl, and he goes AWOL, taking care of this kid, and getting the agency to hunt him down.
There was literally no reason to kill Diana at all. She could have just come with him and the girl.

I'm buying one of these games tomorrow. I played FFX briefly when I was about 9 or 10 and I don't really remember it too well. I've never played FFVII so I don't know if it's really as good as people say, or if it's just nostalgia talking. I'm a pretty big RPG fan so things like combat systems or reading text don't bother me.
Which in your opinion is the better game?
They're both great and you should play both. But I'd start with 7.
