Why aren't more RPG games like this? Why is every other variation on the genre a generic D&D template rather than a focus on fun and exploration like Ocarina of Time?

So recently I came up with an idea for an RPG undertale/ earthbound style game... now why am i telling you this you may ask? WELL HERE'S THE THING. Ignoring all the spinoff titles, which all took place in Liberty City or Vice City, it only makes sense for the next title to be back in Florida. Why? Because nostalgia is a bitch and announcing a new GTA that takes place in VC would get the hype training moving.
/v/ has discussed the possibility of a new city, but is there anything to suggest that VI will not take place in Vice City?

Hey there.
Alright, so me and my team are currently in the early stages of development and programming for a brand new ALIENS vs PREDATOR Multiplayer game, and we're currently working on creating a playable demo to submit, as well as other things (such as a decent pitch)
Now, what I've noticed quite a bit, is that the AVP games tend to leave out what the fans want. And with the last good avp game being AVP2 (2001, Monolith), we've decided to take suggestions and inspiration from you guys. So i ask you this.
What do YOU want to see in a multiplayer FPS AvP game?
Side notes: we're currently working on character models at the moment, although being the new year, we're only just getting back to work on them, so please excuse the mess pictured. It's only a temporary banner.
Also, we are using the Unreal Engine 4 and have already completed a quarter of our test map, based on the crashed Engineer ship, which I will post below. Another thing I'd like to add, is that we're always looking for new recruits in different positions, so send an email to avpbreakpoint at gmail with some of your previous work. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to your opinions.

Your body and brain can't handle the load of all of them being switched on immediately, so basically the lore reason of leveling up is your brain turning them on as it gets more used to the augments.
The base augmentations alone make you above normal humans anyway.
