Same feeling, senpai. I don't like the "cinematic experience" games very much, and in the end I don't play many video games but the very basic "straight-to-the-point" indie games like Super Hexagon and Circa Infinity.
Mario Kart Double Dash has the highest average track quality in the series (and the best battle mode).

Bob-omb Blast was tons of fun, but most of the battle mode stage in Double Dash were pretty boring.
My favorite tracklist is MKWii, but that's almost certainly because I spent ages learning all the time trial tricks and perfecting my times

I have never played this game, in fact, it is the only metal gear game that I haven't played.
Why does everyone say that the story is awful? It is not like I expect amazing plots from MGS but I always see people bashing this game's story in particular.What did Kojima do?

Personally I enjoyed the game

it gets good quickly, but drags on a bit in some parts.
lots of references and some major retcons and there's a bit that will make you think everyone in the MGS universe is blind and autistic, but otherwise a flawless game.
