Why wasn't this a Final Fantasy game again?
Mostly likely because it would have never been a main title in the series, so it was easier to just brand it as something entirely different instead of getting purists excited about SE going back to FF roots in an FF spinoff game.

Hey everyone. I'm an insider who has recently gotten the chance to play through Horizon Zero Dawn from start to finish.
Wow. Talk about a complete mess of a game. First and foremost, the game is very story driven, but I would describe it as being very similar to Watch Dogs. Aloy, the heroine, is very unlikable and EXTREMELY unjustified in her actions, although the game really wants you think she's a really upstanding moral person. And yes, she's a dyke.
There are only five or six (Large) enemies in the game, and once you figure out an enemy's pattern once, it's easy to take advantage of the weakness and exploit it. If you stick to upgrading one kind of weapon and never experiment, you can learn how to kill anything in the game relatively easily, within the first two hours, I'd say.
The open world is tiny and kind of bland. There's nothing really to do here except collect resources (That you don't even really need) and fight enemies that get in your way.
9/10, strong female protagonist

Age of Decadence is fucking awful.
I can forgive it's garbage graphics and poor transitions, but the indie quality maps and map navigation, the boring, simplistic and repetitive boring combat system and the atrociously clunky interface I cannot stand.
It seriously plays like a game released in 1990 and I'm sorry, but that shit just doesn't fly. It took 7 years to develop and this was the best they could come up with, fucking embarrassing.
The writing may be excellent (I cannot confirm or deny, did not go far enough into it), but everything around is is awful. Pretty much every other CRPG released the same year is much better than this piece of shit.
Anyone else feel like the proper way to play this game is without guns? Attempting a playthrough right now with only the torch and wooden shield for left-handers and it is substantially more challenging/satisfying.
I hardly used guns, I was a double-handing my axe the whole time, sometimes switching for the torch.

Nintendo did it guys. Hardest game ever made. First hidden boss confirmed impossible to beat, barrel rolls do nothing. What is going on? It's really ridiculous to put something that challenging on the first fucking level.
Grab all the amiibos you can, that's the only way this guy managed to beat this fuck.
