No one is talking about this, so I assume it's a 10/10 r right?
The quest is pretty lackluster, but I'd be a lair to say the robot building isn't fun as fuck. Expect maybe 1.5-3 hours for the quest depending on how you pace yourself. Much more for the robot building. Ultimately, though, not worth the 8$ price tag.
Sidequests are decent, robot building is meh, Ada is new waifu, Jezebel is trying way too hard to be GLaDOS.

They used to be, but they're not anymore. They started abusing their freedom to change whatever they wanted and somehow got the impression it was now additionally their job to decide what is or is not acceptable.

The obscure games are buggy and poorly written with awful dialogue. There are much better games to subject yourself to but if you have to pick one I would just start with the first one.

I don't know if I can get hype what with all the pre-release fuckery.
There's no way Dark Souls 3 can undercut my already extremely low expectations so I think I'd rather remain not hype and get happily surprised when it exceeds them.

So now that the dust has settled and the PC port is fixed. How was the game?

A solid 8.5/10. One of my personal favorites last year (behind Bloodborne, I played every big game last year). Story was a mixed bag but some sections were just genius, especially Jokers integretion. Gameplay outside of the sickeningly shoe horned bat mobile segments was stellar as usual and the visuals are literally the best visuals i've seen in an open world game without a doubt.
I mean it, I can't believe that I don't see this game getting more praise on the visuals alone.

Also, if he had bound the entirety of the Lord Soul to the First Flame rather than split it between him and the other lords could he have ushered in a permanent age of fire?
He's a tragic hero, just not your hero. It was a war between dragons and giants.
He was selfish and was afraid of the humans becoming the next apex species, he couldn't accept the fact that like the dragons they slaughtered for no reason that the god's time were up.
He, and many others were misguided. The world itself, is pretty fucked too though. Basically, the only options in the end were to let it stay the way it was with the gray, unchanging state and dragons, or create a non-permanent state that constantly fucks everyone over.

Every game on that list is at least 8/10. The lowest I'd go to recommend a game would be a 7, possibly a 6 for a die-hard genre fan.

This game had everything I loved about Portal 1, minus the dark humour.
It's a better successor to Portal than Portal 2 was.
