They constantly re-use a shitton of assets, meaning that it's cheap as fuck to churn them out. They sell well enough and they help fund Compile Hearts other games.
Cheap and easy to make and their audience doesn't care about the quality.

The family is getting a new living room TV since we've had the same 720p one since 2007 and it's gonna be a 4K one since the prices have dropped a lot except for the home-theater tier sizes.
How does 4K work with 6th-8th gen consoles? Is it all HDMI meaning I won't be able to play my Wii/GCN and OS2 games? Will the up scaling from 720-1080p to 4K on 8th gen be really apparent?

It depends. The rumors going around are WW1 or a BC3. I'd much rather have a BC3 than WW1. That war was so lackluster in weapon variety that it wouldn't make sense to dedicate such a huge title to it. I would love to have maybe an offshoot of Vietnam or maybe Korea. Personally I'm a huge BF fanboy except for the disgusting Hardline and the pathetic launch of BF4 (its fixed and amazing now so personally IDC).
