Never been big into GoW but i've seen the game in action, yes. It's so ridiculously fun.
Dark Souls probably best bang for your buck but MGR is highest in fun factor although its very short.

PS3 was so streamlined compared to this piece of shit. I'd have thought Sony would've fixed it by now but nah. I fucking hate my PS4. I just throw a game in and play.

Nobody besides fellow crew members plays any fun deathmatches. Its either Concrete no rooftops AR's only or its retarded parkour. Am I a retard for wanting to play a large map with 3-4 options of what gun to use and allowing players to play how ever they want? I just want to snipe everyone and get 30 kills with no deaths, is that too much to ask?
At the merryweather base there is a cool indoor training facility that would make a great deathmatch location. Haven't tried it since the ps3, but is it available now through an official R* deathmatch, because I couldn't create one there in the content creator.
Also pertaining to your point, I blame it all on people's inability to form friendships. It is easy as fuck to get money when you have friends who also play, but if you don't then all you do is grind heist, or whatever shitty thing is paying you the most. This leaves death matches, captures, and one of the best modes (extraction) empty. Extraction is what so many people have been asking for, and little do they know it's already in the game. It is the same game mode from IV with a different name. I just bought a yacht, and friday night- saturday afternoon I made 460K just fucking around with friends (total playtime ~4hours).

What is the point of doing such a thing? I just don't get how getting killed equates to taking you off the pause menu? It is so moronic in design. Unless I'm missing a practical reason for it.

When you play against gief play as lame as possible. Zone him out with cammys pokes/sweep. Divekick from the right height is safe I think, so you can divekick in c.lp and back out, combo confirm if divekick hits

I went in with incredibly low expectations.
Then my friend told me that the director was the same guy that dud the 2007 TMNT movie. That sunk it even further.
I only saw an hour of the movie before I walked out. I couldn't take it anymore. I've never walked out on a movie before. I never expected Ratchet and Clank to be my first.

So with the release of Dark Souls 3 I decided to pick up the series to see if it was any good.
I started with Dark Souls a week ago, then played Dark Souls 3 this week.
Having played both for the first time so close together in such a short period of time, I think I can say the following with pretty decent certainty.
>DaS1
>Harder first half, easier second half.
>Far better level design on average, albeit a bit more unbalanced in terms of quality.
>NPC interactions are handled way better.
>Combat mechanics may be slower but are far more satisfying, and allow a wider range of playstyles.
DaS3
>Bosses are far better.
>Level design is worse, but stays fairly consistent in terms of quality. Levels felt way more maze like, even in open, outdoor areas.
>Shortcuts become so common that you never really have any points that you get frustrated by because you only have any parts once. This is good in the general sense, but it also makes the game feel far easier.
>Combat mechanics fucks over shields. Equip loads fuck over heavy armor by being a separate stat that scales like shit, and poise is pretty much non-existent. Basically the tanky, slow, and methodical playstyle was ruined for the rolling mechanic.
>Rolling turns out to be a lot of fun though.

Anyway. That's my thoughts on the game.
more frequent shortcuts aren't a downside for me... forcing the player to run a long way through areas is just needless chore/difficulty... it's not fun
