I only have time and money for one, can't decide which one to pick up first. (the 2nd one will have to wait until autumn, since Blood and Wine won't play itself during summer).
It's a choice of (apparently) great singleplayer and meh multiplayer vs no singleplayer and great multiplayer.
I wonder if DOOM has any replayability and will allow me to have fun for more than a week. Overwatch will surely not bore me quickly and Blizz will provide it with free content.
Im leaning towards Overwatch, am I doing the right thing?

10 hours into witcher 3 and while i think its a good game. I also think its grossly overrated and misleading on pregame advertising in that its supposed to be a huge open world with no loading times. When in reality its not that open worlded, but a series of maps that do require loading times to travel between, much like inquisition. In fact this game is very similar to inquisition in alot of aspects. Which was also a good game.
But. I was expecting something new and amazing with perfect review scores and all the hype. I am severely let down. I will take a last gen skyrim over this for a few reasons.
1. The one map open world of skyrim was amazing.
2. The quests and dialogue of skyrim is unmatched, from killing an orphanage headmaster, uncovering mage school plots, thieves guild quests, demon quests, cisero lol, on top of the main storyline, etc.
3. 1st person is awesome. Even the dull melee combat of skyrim feels fun in 1st person. But ofc using magic was much more fun and varied.
4. Level system in skyrim is also unmatched imo. Even inquisition had a better leveling system imo.
Witcher 3 has good graphics, good story n quests, good combat, good crafting, etc but just doesnt live up to its hype nor surpass skyrim in any way for me. What u guys think?

It's an excellent game. Second best Metal Gear Solid game overall.
The story is trash, but the series had already been ruined beyond repair story-wise with 4 anyways.
I think it was a great ride and pretty much one of the best games of last year. Story was kind of weak, but so does the story in every Metal Gear tbqh. That didn't make it a bad game, at least for me. MGO I think is also greatly underrated, it can be really fun at least in PS4

Technically two even: an older Asus ROG G60VX (core2duo 2Ghz [upgraded to 2.8ghz) + 4GB DDR2 + GTX 260M 1GB + W7 Pro), and a cheap "regular" laptop with decent specs (i3 @ 2.1ghz, 6GB DDR3, GT 540M 1GB, W7 Ultimate x64).
Both of them can run pre-2010 games flawlessly, and even some more modern games, like fucking MGS5, run decently at 720p/low.

Same as on desktop PCs: All of them. For gaming use, however, a strong, dedicated GPU with its own memory is a must.
Yes, you can get a lot done with modern integrated video chips, but they're far from perfect choice.

Is anyone else here sad that Fable will never get to be what it originally set out to be?
The lads at old Lionhead kept butchering it with every release after the first. Each entry getting more and more casual and more features being cut from the game.
Fable 2. Tbh the story was Shit. Utter Shit. However there was some aspects of gameplay that could've been amazing, if another Dev made the game.
But then Fable 3 fucked all of that up.

I grew up playing fable and because of nostalgia and the idea behind the game, NOT the game itself, it has become one of my favorite games ever.
What devs do you think could turn the trashheap Lionhead left fable in, into a shining example of what could be in a wrpg?

Tbh, I strongly believe that CD projekt red could make an amazing modern Fable game.
From playing the Witcher series I can see that the attention to details in the game world is amazing.
Ah fable 1, first ARPG I ever beat, that final boss the dragon fuck gave me a lot of trouble. Also liked the magic and armor sets, couldn't you kill kids in this game? I remember buying a house and getting a wife
Fable 2 and 3 were handholding casualized shit with easy, boring, repetitive combat. Don't even know why I bothered beating 3.

I just played like the first match in months and her cameras are fucking Godlike and super helpful.
