...Well, it's not a problem solely over here. According to Alicesoft, at one point recorded sales numbers for Sengoku Rance were 50K copies. but the patch for the game had been downloaded 500K times.
I don't understand how there are some people who still treat this like a K/D-oriented game.

conversation is dependent if two characters share a line. I know there's Winston/Reaper, Symmetra/Lucio, Pharah/Rein, and Tracer/Winston. There's certainly more.
