Because the 700 series aka kepler was the first series to be gimped. Your card was on the 960's level until gameworks happened and crippled it

He wasn't bad but I dont get all the hype for him. He's just Iudex Gundyr without the monster transformation. I killed him first try on my first playthrough easily, then hoped I would see something I missed or something on my second playthrough but offed him first try as well.
I'm not saying difficulty = quality or anything, but this guy's design wasn't particularly interesting and he was so easy that I just really don't get the hype.
