It'll be the latter. Aonuma is a hack outside of designing the Woodfall and Snowhead temples.
I'd LIKE for it to be great, but no doubt he'll keep the combat and dungeon design retardedly simple so his kids can play it.
Back then all Capcom had was SF and SNK was looking so much better back then because they tried so many new things and people loved it. Mark of Wolves being it's highest point that is still held in higher reguard than any Capcom fighter today. This shows that back then Capcom wasn't killing SNK like people thought. Now once again, all they have is SF and SNK is bring KOF and Samurai Showdown back with more down the line if they can get good sales and it's looking pretty good for them. If Capcom doesn't stop listening to SF faggots and trying get niggas hype for the same shit we got 7 years ago they will go under. This article is such an eye opener. it showed that Capcom's "golden age" was a fucking fluke.

it also shows that Capcom's "Creative phase" in the 90's was only to compete with SNK with a "let's shoot the dark" Method. Sales factored also but That's why all of those titles don't exist now. Capcom is gonna really have to step it up now. SFV isn't gonna hold this afloat like they thought.
