Lots of reasons. If they even hinted at half of the old cast, they'd have to go back into the rights to use likeness of several IRL actors. Even if they didn't, it probably isn't very profitable compared to other safer options, like consistent MH installments.

That is not a fighting game, not even close.
If anything it looks closer to a freakin rhythm game where you time attacks ,dodge, blocks and punish/counters.

I hope you plan on getting the 4.5. I read some snippits from a dev working with it that the playstation VR is running quite poorly on the origional playstation 4.
It's probably not as bad as it is trying to get good performance on the phone VR but people are going to be expecting some sort of quality on a next gen console.
