I think 3rd person games require this kind of thing, especially witcher 3. VtM:B is a more intimate, slow, immersing, first person game where you have the time and the field/point of view to explore your surroundings and proceed slowly. In witcher 3 you just want to get through shit, continue the story and kill monsters
