Why the Wild West genre so few? Is it not that popular? I know a dozen or so titles that exist, but shit like medieval times, and wars of past, have so many games by comparison.
I'm sure a lot of developers are old fags that grew up on Eastwood and Wayne. Why are we not drowning in Cowboy themed games?

Witcher 3 quest aren't about giving you a challenge, they're about telling you a story. Geralt is the hero, he's the smart one who figures everything out, not you. You're just along for the ride.

they will probably make a vr game for sony, I imagine that they will probably end up making another souls like game for bamco/sony down the line, but I don't see miyazaki being involved heavily, part of the reason he seems to be against it is that these universes need to time to incubate, and time needs to be spent allowing them to breathe
