Looking back on it, how good was the first Kingdom Hearts? How do you feel it compares to later entries?
I've only really liked the first one. Second just wasn't what I wanted in a sequel. Became too actiony and lost too much of the original's charm.
Haven't been able to get into the handheld ones at all.

The combat was a little too slow for me but I still enjoyed it. The level designs were the best in the series and had asimple and cleanstory. KH1 can't compare to KH2 in combat

They'll probably reboot it at some point with FFXV combat.
And people don't like turn based combat anymore and most games that do it anymore are like XCOM 2: simplified to an insane degree with added cinematic garbage.
The guy that created the original X-COM is making a new game that's supposed to come out in 2018 though. That might be good but we don't have much info on it.
X-COM and similar games aren't really SRPGs though which I think is what you're talking about but they're close.

Skyward Sword is harder and has better combat. How on earth is TP hard? Im not a great gamer by any means, but Ive finished it comfortable on a 3 heart challenge with no moves and no shield. Only the yeti house and Zant fight are somewhat hard
