How do you anons feel about the remastered Skyrim being $60? I know I'll put at least another 200 hours in so it's worth it to me, but do you all think the HD graphics, mods, and all DLCs are worth the price tag of a new game? Especially considering PC players can upgrade for free?

I don't particularly like it. If they hadn't have already released a version with all the DLC then it would be a bit more acceptable. But all you're really buying it for are graphics the PC version can easily beat, heavily moderated mods that can't overhaul the game really, and maybe better performance (on console is it even confirmed to be 60fps and shit?).
Allowing people to upgrade for free on PC is nice, although somewhat unnecessary considering mods can most likely out do any changes they'll implement. Regardless, it's nice. But for console it's not the best deal. Hell, if you're playing on console you have probably already accepted that Bethesda games are shit graphics and performance-wise. Overall this feels to me like they're trying to sell the game again with changes mods managed years ago to make a quick buck while working on whatever new game they have.
It's bullshit. It's not like a console can support the mods. In the limited time I played Skyrim, I used 4 gigs of v-ram and I'm pretty certain the ps4/xbox one don't have that much. Also, it's a shameless cash grab.
Why do I see no hype for Deus Ex Mankind Divided from /v/? I personally am super hyped and think it looks like it will be the best game of the year. From what I have seen it is a step up from the last because world is impacted by your gameplay choices. I also like the look of everything about it.
The less /v/ talks about a game, the better.

Listen, I am a total dumbass when it comes to souls/borne games, but if I can beat him in one try than its easy. All you do is just shoot him as he attacks, and his attacks are fairly easy to read. His attacks are even easier to read as the battle progressess

It's not a gimmick, but it's still not the right time for it. As long as you have to look like a fucking retard while playing it and it costs the price of a console to middle end pc, it won't be the right time for VR.
Stupid gameplay question for those who played this:
During synthesis, is there a way to scroll down the traits choice box when there are more than five on it? A scrollbar shows up but I can't figure out how to scroll it.
Also, when looking at a character's equips, is there a way to check the traits on it without unequipping it first?

What do you guys think is the chances of the NX being powerful enough for third party to want to port their games, have a normal non gimmick default controller, along with having their first party games (I mean all franchises, star fox, f zero, metroid, not just 3 mario games a year)?
Honestly if I could get all third party games+nintendo games, I'd ditch my PS4, but I'm not sure if Nintendo is even going to try to compete with PS4/One

NX's biggest problem will be the install base, if it doesn't sell well quickly, 3rd party developers won't have much of a reason to port games to it.

Because for the gamecube it lacked a proper online infastructure, it was missing 2 buttons, it didn't have a hard drive port and, most importantly, it's disc were way too small
For N64, cartridges costed a shit ton.

Gamecube's trouble was definitely disc size but i don't think the controller really mattered all that much. Not nearly as bad as the N64 controller.
